Augie is suddenly fascinated with grabbing any part of my face he can sink his sweet little claws into, then raking them down.

Nose, cheeks, chin, eyebrows--all awesome scratching posts.

Any other moms taking a beating? What should I do?

He's all affection and smiles but it hurts, so I gently push his hands down and say, oooh, be gentle with mama! But so far no dice.

I wish I could get a picture but it's dark in my room right now - LO has her hand gently laying on my chest as she is nursing. During the day she is beating my chest, grabbing my hair, flipping around, turning to look at me, turning to look at any noise she hears. I definitely enjoy nighttime nursing the most these days. During the day it is like I am in a wrestling match.

He is fascinated by my hair-pulling it, trying to eat it, bat at it, etc. Oy! And, ow!!!

I usually take his hand and nibble it, then he puts it back towards my mouth for me to do it again.

I will gently grab DS's hand and say nice touches nice touches and use his hand to stroke my face. He giggles so much!

I say "gentle" repeatedly and try to relax his hand at the same time. It usually works, but today he actually got a grip on my lower eyelid, with his sharp little nails (I cut them every other day but they grow so quickly) on the inside. I called out "OW" and it startled him so he let go. This also happens occassionally when I am nursing him and he chomps down.
