Hello ladies
I just had my 32 weeks checkup, they found some protein in my urine but my MFM said she is isn't concerned since my blood pressure is normal and I have no other symptoms. She said I could have a UTI which can cause for protein to be found in urine and she will send it to the lab. Did you experience this? I don't want to stress about just yet!
Re: Update in comments : Protein in urine
At 32w, I had some borderline BP again and the 24hr urine came back elevated, so I spent a wkend in the hospital and an official pre-e dx. I was to have weekly bloodwork from then on out and my end date was abbreviated to 37w max.
My water broke completely unrelated to the pre-e at 34w and I had no problems w BP post-delivery.
I wouldn't worry, but I would take note of any symptoms that could relate back to pre-e. I also used to go to the grocery store and spot-check my BP. I'm the type that needs info, so it wasn't out of worry - each reading was a data point.

I can't remember when (probably around 30-32 weeks) but my BP was borderline at one visit so out of caution the midwife made me do the 24 hour urine test. The protein was elevated but not high enough to be alarming. They made me do another one to see if it would stay the same or go down.
I ended up doing it about 3-5 times and each time it kept getting elevated even though my BP remained normal so by 36 weeks they said it was too high and I needed to be admitted for monitoring. By this time my feet had started swelling a little bit but I had no other physical symptoms. I was induced and delivered at 36 weeks 4 days.
I agree with the other posters. Don't worry, however, it might be worth ensuring your healthcare provider is monitoring the situation and test your urine at least twice to be sure and monitor your blood pressure and other physical symptoms (e.g. headaches and feet swelling).
Success to you as you get close to meeting your dear ones.
