HE Tide in a non HE?

I know this has been discussed, but I can't find it.
I just realized that the new box of tide I just opened is HE. I feel like HE in non-HE washer is ok, just not vice versa. Is that right? Do I need to use more or anything?

    Both are fine in either type of machine. This dosent apply to your case, but if you have regular detergent and an HE machine, you just need to reduce the amount used by half and will be fine. HE detergents create less suds than regular detergent. This info comes from selling appliances for 10 years. When the HE machines first came out it was very had to find the HE detergent, so this is what we were told to recommend.
