Big Girl Bed Success

we put DD in her big girl bed, a twin with a rail, and she slept the whole night. It was a rough start with her crying, but we only had to put her back in three times. She then fell asleep and slept the whole night!! I am hoping it was not a fluke and it continues for nap and night today! I am not going to lie, I cried because her being in a big girl bed means she is not my little baby anymore!

    Congrats on the night one success. DS has had great success so far with his. I hope it continues for you! And I cried too when we moved DS. Hard to believe they are so big already!

    Congratulations. Moving up to a big kid bed is bittersweet.

    Bwahaha me neither @slh33!  My mom asked me this week when our plan to move her was and I said when we have another baby coming out of me or she is coming out of bed! :)

    Me three.  I feel like I need to get DD into a big girl bed, and in fact we have one.  I'm just not there yet!  I suppose when she's 12 she'll be like "mom, PLEASE."

    The only reason we moved her is because DD2 is due in 5 1/2 weeks and we want her used to this change before the big change of a sibling comes.
