So my really good friend is getting ready to have her third baby, and I'm already going shopping with her and she's going to pick out and buy the fleece she wants for the baby blanket I'm making her. I really want to get her some practical things, along with cute baby clothes (of course). I've already given her all of my baby stuff so she has most of the essentials. I had a girl and she's having her second boy, but we had gotten a lot of gender neutral things like the car seat, some clothes, blankets, burp rags, etc. I already know I want to get her a tube of lanolin because that was my lifesaver while nursing. Anyone have any creative ideas that mix practical in with fun?
Re: Those with 2+ kids....
What about a small age-appropriate gift for the other 2 kids? How old or they? Maybe some color-wonder activity packs, or you could offer to babysit them so your friend can get one on one time with the new baby?
