Teething already!

poor LO - he's grizzly and in pain with teething (3.5mths)
Anyone else and any suggestions for relief?

Re: Teething already!

  • Teething here too although he doesn't seem to mind it yet. Someone mentioned a clean cloth, knotted and soaked in water with a tiny bit of sugar and then frozen. I have yet to try it though.

  • I'm wondering if LO is teething. He's been "chewing" on his hands a lot lately, biting down when nursing and drooling a lot. And tonight he got ridiculously fussy. I mean you could tell he was in pain. I felt so bad. I'm not sure if this episode tonight was just maybe gas or something but I've never heard him cry like that other than maybe when he got his shots
  • I was wondering this about LO as well... He's been exhibiting the same signs- drooling, chewing on hands, slobbering on me and seeming to be in pain. I got him a teething ring and put it in the fridge to get cold and he seemed to love chewing on that. This seems way too early for this, though.
  • Yes lots of drooling here too, chewing on hands and grizzling - apparently teething can start from 3 mths and can take months for the first tooth to come through :(

  • My LO has been showing all signs of teething aswell. While I think it's still early, I suppose it's possible. We're seeing our pedi tomorrow so I'll run it by her.

  • @ablessedsoul‌ looks like a tooth to me. That's what DS's gum looks like too where the doctor said the tooth was coming.
  • Teething tablets work well. My MIL told me about them and it seemed to work better than oragel. DD's hands are her favorite chew toy
