I wouldn't worry too much. They will begin to measure your fundal height soon enough, and that will also help determine if you're on track. And I'm sure you'll have an anatomy scan at some point also. I can't imagine an ultrasound being off by a month. It's much more likely your cycle was a little wacky.
Because the doctor said I might have to deliver early by c section, so I wouldn't bleed out and if she is a month off that could end badly for the baby and I.
Well, you should have an ultra sound scheduled for week 20 about. That's the big one, the anatomy scan, so I'm sure they will give you a thorough once over.
Truth is, if you are so worried, you need to be talking to your doctor. Asking questions and doing research on your own about placenta previa. As it has been stated, there's a high chance that the placenta has already started to move and a good chance by delivery that it won't be a problem any more. And thus delivering early might not be a problem. Besides, 'early' is a relative term. You might be freaking out about having to have a c-section at 38 weeks when a baby is technically to term.
I think your best plan of action is to calm down, read up on placenta previa, write down any questions, and call your doctor. Give yourself a break, stress is not good for the baby or yourself.
I'm having a little trouble following but just wanted to chime in that you wouldn't have conceived in June to have an April 20th due date. I conceived on 8/1 for a due date of 4-25. (This is pretty exact from the RE) Many people don't know their exact ovulation date so doctors usually start out by guesstimating from your last period. However, if you have long or irregular cycles you ovulate later which puts conception later.
I would definitely bring it up with your doctor and ask how they are determining your due date. I really don't have enough information to come up with a more educated guess.
***********siggy warning **********
Me: 26 DH: 27
TTC #1 Since Aug. 2013
Cycle 1: O CD 25=bfn
Cycle 2: O CD 48=bfn
Cycle 3: Anovulatory/Provera =120 days!
Cycle 4: Anovulatory/Prometrium=127 days! RE consult 6/16
This is a little confusing, and your question is hard to understand. I also have placenta previa, my OB is scanning me every 2/3 weeks to see if it's moving and if so how much. I was told it's something they like to keep an eye on. In regards to my due date, if my placenta dose not move. She will decide on when my c section will take place based on later ultrasounds to see how big he is measuring and the condition of my placenta. It didn't sound like she would just guess a c section date based on my due date. Rather the size and health of my baby and placenta.
