Ear/Jaw Pain?

My left ear and left side of my jaw have been really sore for the past couple of days for no apparent reason. It hurts to chew. I plan on asking my doctor about this when I see him on Thursday, so I'm not seeking medical advice. I'm just curious if anyone else has experienced this?

    Yes but it had nothing to do with pregnancy.

    Also, since this is mostly likely not pregnancy related, you might want to make an appointment with your regular physician. In my experience, OBs usually send you to a regular doctor for random health concerns not related to your pregnancy.

    Yes. I have that except on my right side. Although because I have it doesn't mean it's the same reason for your pain/issue. I have something similar to a temporary version of TMJ...my doctor said some pregnant women get it, not many, but some and it should go away once the LO arrives. Mine isn't persistent though--mostly hurts at night. But with that being said, you should definitely talk to your primary doctor or dentist about it if it is something you are worried about.

    I had this, but it was a reaction to how I was taking my iron( I had swelling, excessive gum bleeding, ear ache) and the iron was my only change. I was doing 1 large dose and they had me break it down to 2 smaller doses and we discovered I am allergic to the supplements. But my scenario is rare.

    Yes,move had this at around 34-35 weeks. Dr said that it wasn't common but wasn't unheard of. It did go away. I did go to the dentist before going to the ob, and all was fine. Apparently hormones cause it. I got ear, jaw and headaches.
