Callie has arrived! Update: Picture :)

Our little Callie arrived on November 5th at 11:34 pm and weighing in at over 8 pounds!
I started having contractions the morning of our scheduled indiction. I ended up not only getting an epidural, but taking advantage of several pain management options. I labored for 19 hours and it was the hardest thing I've ever done!
Around 11 pm that night my Dr revealed to me that I was still at 5 cm (had been since lunch) and offered me the option of a c section. He had some concerns that due to her size she was having a tough time progressing. I immediately took him up on it. While I really wanted to have a vaginal delivery I felt as if I had nothing left to give. My epidural wasn't working so well and I was vomiting due to the pain. I was ready to meet this girl!
Half an hour later my beautiful baby girl was born!
I'm surprised I don't find myself disappointed that I missed out on a vaginal birth. Rather, I'm grateful that my Dr empowered me to make the choice. It was the right choice for us, in that moment. We're both here and healthy. She's breastfeeding like a champ!
I've never felt more loved than while I labored. Crystal was absolutely amazing and continues to put Callie and me first. She's definitely running herself down though. I'm grateful tomorrow that she will run home to get some real sleep while my mom comes up to visit!
Tomorrow is a big day too! Uncle E...aka our donor...is coming to meet baby girl!

So happy that you have positive feelings about Callie's birth. The birth is just the first of many plans that will go awry and it sounds like you are ready to roll with the punches. You did great and your daughter is here!

We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm. 8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy. We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET. I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013.
11/14/14 - Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.
12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2
12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)
1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

IVF#1 cycle started 4/2/14. 5/1: 19 eggs retrieved, 8 matured, ICSI'd. 4 fertilized. Only 2 to transfer/freeze stage. 5/6: Two embryos transferred. 5/15: Beta #1 9dp5dt is 134! New Plan: Reciprocal IVF, me as carrier wife's eggs. Just went through insurance and received partial approval, so my part will go through my IVF benefits and wife's part will be out of pocket. Now just finalizing finance plans to cover the oop costs. Doctors office is in process of moving to a new building so there are no IVF start ups until March/April 2015.
