Poop everywhere!

Lately my daughter puts her hands on her parts AS SOON as I take off or open her diaper. This especially sucks when it's poop because once it's on her hand it's gonna end up everywhere. Poop everywhere.
I've tried giving her a toy during diaper changes, but she ended up putting the toy in her poop.

Anyone else's LO do this?!

What a shitty situation...

    My girl has started this too but so far I've been able to keep her hands away from the poop :)

    I have a little mobile that hangs above the changing table that distracts her; sometimes her hands wander down there but I'll try and grab them first. Have you tried talking or singing to her during the change? That may help?

    My little boy is obsessed with touching himself whenever the diaper is off - didn't realize the girls were doing this, too :). I usually just use one arm to block his hands (and use that hand to hold the feet) while the other one cleans him up. Once he's clean, I usually give in and let him "explore," since it's tricky to keep him blocked!

    Ya I sing, talk, block and errthing but she's super strong and so determined!

    Also, most times she poops it cones out the top or side of diaper so i'm often dealing with taking off a poopy onesie too!
