LO ate dog food this morning. I only know because he threw up a small pile of kibble. I'll further confess that my dog ate the throw up. Why waste it, right?

This is actually something that I honestly feel really bad about. One of my good friends from high school had major surgery yesterday and I forgot. We don't live in the same city and it's not that I forgot that she was having surgery in general, just that yesterday was the day. I feel really bad that I didn't call her or anything to wish her luck.

There's no school on Tuesday, so I don't have to work. LO will still go to DC, and I will go to the Melting Pot with my bestie. We have to pay for the day, so I'm not feeling one ounce of guilt about not spending my day off with him.

I didn't start my period when I was supposed to. Now I'm almost a week late. The FFFC part is that I bought so many damn pregnancy tests at the dollar store last month (remember my week of POAS?) that I'm embarrassed to go back in.

I spy on my new neighbors. As in, I watch the goings-on through my front window and try to figure out everyone's situation. Like...the old lady who walks with a stick. Why does she carry a stick on her walks? Is it to fight off potential predators/large dogs? Is it for exercise, and if so, what physical benefit could stick carrying bring?

And the Vietnamese threesome who do everything together. It's a woman and two men and they go walking and wear the same outfits every day. Why? Are they related? Do they not own more than 1 sweatshirt?

There are more, but these are my main questions today.

@penguin173 Carl is our new landlord. He's apparently an old hippie with long hair and he lives on a commune outside the city.

He's pressuring my H to build a greenhouse ("We can grow shit, man"), doesn't care when the rent is paid ("Just whenever you think about it, sometime that month is cool"), and once my H came home to find Carl chilling on our roof fixing something ("Look at the birds, man").

He sounds like quite the character and I can't wait to meet him!

@codypup and @JoyBaby5‌ I do the same thing! We are somewhat friends with the couple across the street, and basically know their schedule, so when the dad is home at 2:15pm mowing, and typically works until 5 or later most evenings, it's noteworthy! (Turns out, he sometimes takes extended lunches to come home and mow.) Then there is the older guy (and his wife) who apparently only bicycle on their own (maybe they share a bike?) but they only travel about 4 houses down and then go back. They repeat about 6 times. I guess avoiding hills? And the guy who walks with a stick... And the lady who thinks she is MH's best friend because he went to school with her son... (I'm fairly sure she reports the goings-on of our place to MH's ex, who she works with). Oh... And since we live on a lake, I get to watch back there too. We have the one guy that kayaks. And then the people that just built a fancy house with a pontoon. And they are also the swimmers.

Jeez, that sounds creepy! Hard not to notice, though, when you're home a lot!

Hey ladies! Been a long time since I have confessed!
1.) My bil is dating this bat shit crazy girl STILL- I shared about her crazy way back in preggo days-anyways she deleted me off Facebook because mature SO every once in a while I'll tag my bil or mil in pics of my kids looking super cute just to be like ha B****! I know mature.

2) I have started to teach myself from crochet and I may need an intervention soon - IM OBSESSED!

3) I nanny for a little boy along w my 2 youngest (3 bigs are in school) sometimes the little ones go in the their rooms and mess things up - and because lazy- I just leave it and when the bigs get home and complain tell them they must have forgot to make the bed- pick up the cards etc.

My brother just announced he's engaged to a woman he met in Romania (he lives in CO btw), who he's known for less than a year. I'm not 100% sure this is not a mail-order bride or she got knocked up or something. It's totally weird. He was dating a different woman for a good 4yrs before they broke up and only met this one a few months later and is now marrying her.

The FFFC part is I've not mentioned it to anyone IRL, outside of the immediate family who he told, because I'm confused and slightly embarrassed by the strangeness of the whole situation.

@boogerbearoriginal, That reminds me of my own brother situation, where you're trying hard not to pass judgement but have a million questions that kind of seem judgmental so you just don't ask them. Or tell anyone IRL.

I feel ya, sister. Hopefully it plays out into an okay long term situation.

Oh! Similar to @Penguin173‌ ... The other day we were talking about Christmas, and our plans for gifts. I explained that I had gotten a couple gifts for the "(maiden name)" family, from santa... Using that to describe the 3 of us. I haven't used my maiden name in 3 or 4 years, and never used it paired with family to describe myself. It was so weird, and MH was like... What are you talking about?!

A few days ago during a diaper change, I found a intact but dead bee in her diaper. I still don't know how or where she got it, so we haven't changed anything. (She is fine, and had no reaction)

This is so far from our reality that I want to cry while reading it. @Codypup‌ Hold out hope! LO has been through love-it and hate-it phases, and she's back to loving it. Thank you, Jesus.

+1.....this was me when my brother came home from one of several holidays in Thailand and announced he was engaged. They've been married two years now but I still find it weird

I was sitting in chapters today drinking a coffee while Lo ate a mum mum. a girl walked in with her baby, probably a couple months younger than LO. I really wanted to be her friend...so I got up and followed her around the store hoping she would notice me and we would start talking and become bffs.

She never even looked at me
