@Lizzielu22 going to L&D - Update #3 in OP Baby is here!

Our own fabulous Pomeranian mama is heading to L&D to be induced. The doctors have decided her blood pressure and it's time for Baby @Lizzielu22 to make her appearance in the world! I will be up throughout the evening nursing Josh, so I will update as I hear news!

Update 1: They have given her a pill to get her cervix opening. Right now it's just waiting for things to get going.

Update 2: I heard from Lizzielu22's husband. Lizzielu22's been on Pitocin all day. Her water was broken at about 7 pm EST (4 p.m. PST), and she just got her epidural. She's been having contractions all day, and they've been increasing in intensity to the point now where's she pretty uncomfortable. Hopefully, now her epidural is relieving some of that discomfort! I will update again when I know more!

Update 3: according to her husband Lizzielu22 did great! (Not that we would have expected anything less!)

Lizzielu22's labor progressed very quickly after the epidural, but after the first round of pushing her contractions changed. So the doctor had her take an hour off to rest. After that hour was up, she pushed like a champ and the baby was delivered in less than an hour from that point.

At 12:40 am, Anna Artice was born! 7 lbs, 9 oz, 20.5 inches. Baby and Mom are healthy and everything is looking great!
