Question....has anyone who generally haspretty clockwork cycles ever O'ed on cd9 when it usually happens on cd14? The last six months I have been charting tempting and using opk.....I have religiously gotten a + opk on cd13 with a spike in temp on cd14. This cycle I have been lax in tempting so I've been missing days . But I took it the last three...two days low and normal...today it skyrocketed! I did almost forget so I started to get up before I remembered.....so maybe that is all it was.....but thinking about it, I had a lot of ee cm the last couple days and today wascompletely dry....so it makes me wonder if I missed my opportunity this month

    I have the occasional jump that in the grand scheme of things means nothing. See what happens tomorrow.

    no, I'd be surprised as hell if I ovulated prior to cd14 bc I'm a late(ish) O'er.  I know of others that do O randomly early, but I wouldn't worry about that with one day of a high temp.  Keep charting and temping.  Best wishes!

    I've had a couple random temp spikes this month, but no O yet....were you not using OPK's this month? I would say it is likely just a freak thing but you will know for sure if you did O early if you still have high temps for the next two days.

    I've heard of it happening, but it could also just be a random spike. That happened to me last month. I had a couple days or really high temps which made me think that I had O'ed super early. But nope, they dropped back down after a couple days and then FF gave me crosshairs for a date like 4 days after the crazy spike.

    Thanks ladies....it did come down some today so hopefully that is good. I am planning the take the opk this month just had not started yet....ill find out soon enough by the end of the weekend either way.

    Mine was wacky one month but I can still see pretty clear O date. I disagreed with FF that one month, but it was close to what I thought. This month I have a really rocky chart for some reason, random spikes all over...hoping ff can figure it out anyway!

    The only time I have had a huge drop that early was when I ovulated late.  It seems like my body tried to O, but never made it because I didn't have very high temperatures after.  7 days later I got another large drop and a rise that stayed high for the next 6 days.  Good luck.
