It looks like the test only catches 92.9% of Monosomy X, although I'm sure that's not really an accurate statistic, as it's a low probability event. https://www.panoramatest.com/en/healthcare-provider/clinical-data Do you have a reason to think you're carrying a Turner's Syndrome child?

I dont have any markers on the ultrasound but I took the Verifi prenatal screening test and that came back positive for Monosomy X. So my doctor recommended I try Panorama bc it is thought to be more accurate and that came back negative. I can't do an amnio bc I have a large subchorionic hematoma. Now I dont know what to think.
Well, the chart says the false positive rate for Verifi is one percent for monosomy X. One of those tests is wrong, and the fact that you have no indications of problems on the ultrasound is a great sign. What does your doctor say?

Our genetic counselor warned us that it was just a screening test, not diagnostic. Since the DNA is coming from theplacenta, not the baby there is a chance the results may be inaccurate. Though she said this is very rare.

We met with a genetic counselor about a concern also. She told us that it is rare but possible that a chromosome abnormality could be in the placenta but not that baby. That is usually what accounts for a false positive or negative. That is definitely a possibility given your mixed results.
I see, I know that Panorama is able to distinguish between maternal and fetal dna but Verifi can't. I guess maybe they did just pick up the chromosomes in the placenta?? Or maybe some of my cells bc I heard as women age some of their cells lose x chromosomes. Has anyone heard of that?
When we went in for our panorama test we were warned again that it is just a screening test and not diagnostic like amnio or CSV however the results are 99.9% accurate...so if you receive a negative test result your chances are super super super slim, however if you receive a positive it is possible that those are wrong in which case a doctor should recommend you have amino or CSV to confirm if it is positive.
This is the problem with these genetic blood tests--they're relatively new, the results can be confounded by a variety of factors that aren't terribly well understood, and the doctors don't really know what to do about ambiguous or contradictory results. If your doctor is telling you that your baby looks healthy on the ultrasound, then I would try to focus on that. You have a healthy baby! Congrats!
