Definitely utilize the lactation consultant at the hospital, find your local la leches league and start attending meeting, Kellymom.com has awesome info too. Good luck!
My little guy was born with a tongue tie as well and it made BFing really painful! He used his gums to try to get milk instead of his tongue and it was really sharp! We didn't get his frenulum clipped until he was about 2 weeks old, so those first two weeks were rough. I ended up breast feeding as much as I could and pumping to supplementing with a bottle of breast milk until his tongue was fixed.
After we got him clipped he took to it really naturally, so my advice would be that if #3 has a tongue tie as well, just do whatever you can to hang in there and keep your supply up until the frenulum can get clipped. It may take some time to get that latch just right if baby has developed bad habits, but the best you can do is give it a shot!
