2+Moms who had convertible cribs

We got a Baby Cashe Lifetime crib for Hailey and this past weekend switched her over to the full size bed.  Now I'm at a loss for what to do with the crib parts. I am going to save the mattress for Reid, but what do I do with the bottom and the 2 short sides?

    We have a convertible crib for our first child who is 18mo, I'm not sure if we should get him a toddler bed and use the crib for our second son or just get another convertible crib. Sigh.. Did you get a second convertible crib for your second child?

    We are getting a second convertible. The one I have for Hailey matches her dresser. Her's is a natural wood color, and we are going to go with black furniture for Reid.
