I'm putting up Christmas decorations already. I've also got all my Christmas shopping done except the grandparents. Figured do it now while I have the energy and time.
I'm upset that the MockingJay is not coming out before my EDD... Don't they know I have to see it in theaters and I'll never make it if I have a baby!! Ugh...

I'm a stickler for doing things the day after Thanksgiving but I'm seriously contemplating putting the tree up on 11/15 (RCS on 11/22) because the thought of not having the energy to do it with a 3 y/o and 6 day old baby is kind of sad.

I'm begging my husband to take me on Friday night before our RCS the next day but in reality I know I wouldn't be able to stand in line with all the teenagers and I'd probably be miserable.
I have a gf who has a theater near her that has mom/baby showings of popular movies. I'm kinda jealous we don't have one near me.

Usually I'm the same way; decorations are not allowed up until Black Friday but this year I'm breaking my rule. No way and I trying to do this with a 3.5 year old, a 17 month old, and newborn. Not happening. The Christmas tree will wait until DH does it but everything else is going up.

Exactly. Everytime I see a trailer I remind this little girl that she needs to wait just long enough for me to see the movie. Fortunately, it comes out five days before my EDD.
@ashris13 The first movie I took DS2 to was The Hunger Games... when he was just a couple months old. He did really well! Was worried it would be too loud, but he slept through the whole thing. It's not an impossible obstacle.
@Ashris13 I feel the same way. Also having a similar sort of anxiety over Dumb and Dumber To. I know it technically comes out 3 days before my due date but I was so uncomfortable the last time I sat in a movie theater seat a month ago, I can't imagine how 3 days before EDD will be any better. DH is devastated.
@lovebuggies1 I agree. FB/Insta/Twitter are public forums. Nothing is private. I don't know why people post ridiculous things, drunken escapades, ect. I tend to live by the old adage never say or 'post' anything that you wouldn't want splashed on the cover of the NYT.

Maybe it's just me but I think its rude to take a baby to a movie theater. I would never do it. I don't even think I would be able I enjoy myself because I would be worried the baby would wake up and cry.
A lot of theaters have "cry rooms" in the back. You can still watch the movie, but baby won't disturb any other movie-goers.
I'm bringing make up with me to the hospital. Not saying I'll have the energy to do a "whole face," but I'm definitely going to put on some lipstick and powder for some pics! Is that ridiculous??
@jlk6 And I would never want to disturb other movie patrons. I went fully prepared to eat the cost of the ticket if baby didn't stay asleep - I'd have just left. He woke up near the end and I went to stand near the walkway out so I could whisk him away if he got fussy, but turned out not to be necessary.

I am most definitely bringing makeup to the hospital too. I feel so much more human when I have a bit of makeup on and I don't want to look like a zombie in photos and when visitors come.
I ordered a hospital gown from Etsy so that I could have a cute outfit for the hospital after birth but the ease of a hospital gown. It has snaps at the shoulders so that I can easily pump and/or feed without having to take everything off. I'm more concerned about my outfit then makeup.
I like getting cervical checks. Yes they hurt or are uncomfortable, but I Like to see that all these tricking contractions aren't for nothing...
I do too. I had a great check yesterday. I was very happy with the progress from the week prior. So happy to hear that the discomfort is doing something.
