I'm having a CNM at a hospital and would like to labor naturally as long as I can, hopefully thru birth. My DH has three kids with his ex and all three births had complications. This is my first pregnancy and I feel DH is unsupportive of my desire to birth naturally. Of course, I'm anxious about the birth and not sure I can do it without him being on board. Can anyone recommend a book, website, etc that we could go thru together to help prepare us both?
Re: Resources for DH: Natural birthing
Your doctor can probably recommend some other good curriculum, but I think the ladies here have been really helpful with book recommendations and classes. Good luck with your plans for a vaginal birth, I hope that your husband is able to support you and your decision!
So I already know I get to make the decisions if I'm conscious and I reminded him that I can kick his ass out if he pisses me off, that seemed to make an impression :-)
Mine wont learn, he already knows everything. Good luck with yours. Mine reads voraciously. ... but not what I ask him to, just a shit ton of library fiction.....
