How long after getting it put in did you get normal periods? I've been spotting pretty much every day since I got at the end of July. I have had a few heavy days. I know everyone is different but when did you stop spotting all the time and have normal periods?

    I still haven't gotten mine. EBFing, though. That blows that you've been spotting for this long.

    Spotted like you did, just stopped in the last couple weeks had it put in mid June. No regular periods yet EBF.

    I usually spot like crazy, then never get a period until it's out. This time I spotted for almost two months--- nothing since. I've had it since July.

    Eta: I had my first one before I ever had a baby-- no period. This time EBF-- no period

    I am EBF, and spotted for about three weeks. No periods or spotting since.

    I got Mirena 5.5 wks PP. I didn't have any spotting beyond the last traces of lochia that were still passing. I had several days of heavy red flow 2 weeks after I got the IUD, then again 2 weeks after that. I assume the first was breakthrough bleeding and the second was AF. Got it again 35 days later, which was my previous normal cycle, but now two months have passed and I haven't gotten it again.

    I EBF.

    I am spotting almost everyday. I do have a few days a month of heavy bleeding. Maybe thats a period?
