How are you feeling? I've been worse! I'm starting to get way more uncomfortable and big. And it sucks since I can't get up as much to stretch- my back is starting to bother me lots in bed. But I'm otherwise fine.
Appointments/Updates? My big girl is measuring around 4lbs 11oz which is a super decent size for this point. They are thinking she'll be over 5 pounds during the next u/s (estimated, of course, and could be off). I had another day of contractions yesterday, but they tapered off. Unfortunately, my u/s showed a 1.3 cervix (down from 2) and I had a positive fFn test. With my shortened cervix, the contractions, dilation and effacement.. the + fFn, they aren't sure I'll make my 37 weeks. Right now we are pushing for at least 2 more weeks. It's a big number in this hospital because, unless clearly needed, a baby isn't rushed to NICU starting at this point (whereas anything before 34 weeks is automatic NICU). They are also hopefully she may reach 6 pounds at that point. So she needs to stay in a little longer!
Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? Ordered my diaper bag. WE ARE DONE!

QOTW: What's on your to-do list for November? Hopefully not having a baby quite yet? Otherwise, nothing. My husband has everything ready at home. We already had Thanksgiving in Canada. Just resting and gestating
How are you feeling? Nothing much has changed, I have my great days and I have my not-so-great days. I'm starting to feel giant, and need assistance from my DH for a lot of things... but that's what he's there for, right?!
Appointments/Updates? I'm now on bimonthly appointments... So, next check-up is Tuesday.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? Really trying to hold off on any more purchases until after the baby shower. My MIL on the other hand has gone wild!
Rants/Raves: Rant is from this past weekend... We ordered our nursery furniture from BRU, so when we went to open the box to assemble, I noticed they sent us the wrong dresser. What seems like it'd be an easy fix, BRU thought I was from another planet or something when trying to explain to them what happened. First time dealing with them, and it has been a rather poor experience. I just want my correct dresser (hoping to have it this weekend)!! I should make them assemble it for us... ~X(
QOTW: What's on your to-do list for November? Organize and declutter things around the house and get all the nursery furniture & decor up & ready so after the baby shower we just need to deal with the new stuff instead of an entire room.

How are you feeling? I've been feeling pretty crappy this week (physically). I've got weird cold thing going on where I have post-nasal drip and a really scratchy throat but otherwise I feel totally normal.
Appointments/Updates? Just had an appointment yesterday. Everything seems to be good and Gavin is a total firecracker; kicking at the Doppler and bouncing around almost on cue when the CNM asks how movement has been.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? The car seat got delivered on Tuesday! Last weekend after the shower I also went out and bought the click connect stroller frame and some changing pad covers. I know work plans on throwing me another baby shower so I'm trying to hold off on the small things. I'm going to be going this weekend to return some of the duplicate things from the shower and pick up some other things we need - probably the diaper bag and a bouncer.
Rants/Raves: Just really hoping that time flies by. I feel weird because I now look forward to the week more than the weekend. Also, I'm super freaked out about DH not making it home in time for Gavin's birth...
QOTW: What's on your to-do list for November? I need to do thank you notes this weekend. I need to figure out what I want in my hospital bag and get that packed before the end of the month. I need to train my co-workers on a bunch of stuff and create a "instruction" binder on how to do my job in my absence. I need to really get the house cleaned up. I also need to do all of this sooner rather than later because I have a feeling that in a few more weeks I'm not going to be up for all of the work.
How are you feeling? I feel pretty good physically (mentally, not so much!). Can't complain. I have the occasional heartburn and cramp in my calf or foot, but other than that, I feel as if I'm pretty lucky. What's going on inside my head though, pure panic!
Appointments/Updates? I'm taking my GTT test tomorrow morning. Next week I have my regular OB, then next Friday is the follow-up growth scan to make sure the fluid levels in his brain have gone done. Please Lord, let them have gone down. I would love to have an US where they say, "everything looks great"! Maybe this one will be it.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? I can't remember what I last updated, but we have our crib, dresser, glider and a rug for his room. Furniture-wise we're done. But that's all we have, besides 2 onesies, a Gund rabbit and some random toys and things. None of the big stuff yet like carseat, stroller or anything. Eek.
Rants/Raves: I love where I work. My boss is super understanding about appts. and everything else so I feel extremely lucky in that. My husband is working really hard on our house, trying to get things situated for another human and I probably don't thank him enough for that.
QOTW: What's on your to-do list for November? Everything. Everything! We need to pick out a paint color for the nursery and get some blinds in there. We also need to get a new door because our house is old and the cat can open the nursery door by herself. We also need to find somewhere to put the 3 huge rubbermaids of linens and towels that are stacked in our room.
Week/Fruit: 30 weeks/Cucumber
How are you feeling? Had another night of I assume gas/constipation pains. (Sorry TMI). Achy lower back pain from carrying the extra weight. More noticeable mood swings, and jealously, insecure feeling. But nothing unusual for a pregnant woman lol.
Appointments/Updates? Growth scan at my next apt on Monday.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? I bought a pair of black little girl leggings from target, and a California baby wash/lotion tote. Scratch mittens and a sleeper.
Rants/Raves: There was a shooting last night on my street. A friend of mines little brother was shot, being a bystander. Waiting to find out if he is ok, my son is very shaken up by last nights events.
Rave: I'm happy to be at the 30 week mark. This hasn't been a very easy pregnancy, although it wasn't unbearable. Just very excited to be meeting my little girl in about 2 months, give or take ( hopefully give). Also worried about all the Christmas shopping, finalizing everything for LO, and really hope our move happens sooner rather than later.
QOTW:What's on your to-do list for November? Begin my Christmas shopping asap. Buy a shower gift for my cousin's shower. Wash all of LO's clothes, sheets ect. Purchasing all of the items we still need to get before her arrival. Finalize a list of what to pack to take to the hospital, but wont be packing the bag until after 34 weeks. Sometime the beginning of December.
Week/Fruit: 30/cucumber! I can't believe I'm at 30 weeks! Only about 2 more months to go
How are you feeling? Awesome, aside from the heartburn!

Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? We received our travel system at the door late Halloween night....and yesterday I received all the Vera Bradley awesome deals I ordered online last week!

QOTW: What's on your to-do list for November? Get baby's room cleared out so that hopefully shutters can be installed on windows and walls can be painted next month!
How are you feeling? OK, not perfect. I have more trouble sleeping now, and I have a weird pain in my right side, right under my ribs that I'm keeping an eye on. And I'm tired. Aside from all that, I'm doing really well. I feel guilty complaining about these small things when I know a lot of these other ladies have had it so much worse than I have...
Appointments/Updates? Next appt is on Monday, my 32week checkup. I don't anticipate anything different than the last visit, though.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? Well, I have been working on the nursery, painting and ordering fabric swatches so I can figure out what fabric to use for the curtains and crib skirt that I'm planning to make. I have also located some items on amazon that I want to purchase (wall decorations and crib sheets, etc). A couple of nights ago I arrived home after work to find a huge box from a friend of mine. She'd sent all of her bottles and dishwasher baskets to us (which I knew she was planning to do) and she included a couple of really cute outfits for the little one, too.

How are you feeling? Pretty good. Just relaxing at home today.
Appointments/Updates? Had my Tuesday OBGYN appointment and tomorrow is my maternal fetal. Baby is moving fine and doing okay. Started to have acid reflux and don't love that but the doctor gave me meds. Still have a goal for 37 week delivery.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? Vera Bradley box of cute stuff from sales.

QOTW: What's on your to-do list for November? I started wrapping a few Christmas gifts since baby is coming before Christmas. I still have a couple things to order and want to start on Christmas cards and finish ordering presents. Wash all the baby clothing, do the hospital bag, Sterilize bottles/breast pump stuff. Whatever I can do to prepare while on bedrest :-).
How are you feeling? Pretty good but I'm feeling A LOT of baby kicks!
Appointments/Updates? My next appointment is in 2 weeks. I will do the GD testing at that time.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby recently? New paint for the baby's room. My mom thought that the gray color we picked out is too dark. Super grrrreat, thanks mom!
Rants/Raves: I'm concerned about my job a little because my coworker (in the same position as me) was laid off yesterday. I really don't want to lose my job right now.
QOTW: What's on your to-do list for November? We're going to Mexico for my best friend's wedding in 12 days! Yay! I need to buy a maternity dress for the wedding. I will also need to buy a new swimsuit and some maternity clothes to supplement what I already have. I can't wait for VACATION!
Feeling: tired but good. I am planning to work until delivery but we will see.
Appointments: I went to the OBGYN doc for the first time and was not happy. It wasn't anything major and she was super nice. However, I asked about meds timing and moving to 1 week visits and her answers were completely wrong. She gave me single birth numbers. I emailed my high risk doc to clarify. But now I am worried about getting a doc for delivery that doesn't know much about twins (I will get whomever happens to be on call).
Baby stuff: we just had a work and family/friends shower. We now have a completely overwhelming amount of stuff. I am really grateful for the support but I now feel the need to purge the house of other stuff to compensate.
