  Google "mucus plug." Wait for that to come out. If you are unsure, you can take a picture and post it on December mom's board. They will verify.

  I'm due the 27th also and with your due date around the corner it's kinda late to just now start looking for advice. I would def suggest reading up on it because your baby will be here very soon and you don't want to be THAT uneducated MOM who calls the OB or Pedi everyday for something that's really common sense or is on the discharge papers from the hospital. Good Luck!

  No one is being rude or hateful...the poster was incredibly vague as to what she is asking and it sounds like she has not educated herself to prepare for the baby she is about to have.
  Where exactly does it say that the point of this forum is to be helpful and supportive?? All I see is

  Ok well this is my good bye to this group. God so many of u are awful. Shes just asking for advice. If ur not going to be helpful maybe u shouldn't reply. Glad i have other online groups who arent so harsh. Seems like we are back to how people were b4 they hit their 12 weeks.
  
  @tashablake16x‌ my advice is the mayo clinic book really helped me still super nervous but i think most first time moms are.

  I don't know about you guys,  but my dr. gave me a shit ton of reading material that went over all the important stuff.  I even had to watch videos online.

  I would give you book recommendations, but you could pop before you're done reading them! Ina May Gaskin's Guide to Childbirth. Might be irrelevant for a medicated hospital birth, though.
