soothe fomulas

in Formula Feeding
has anyone tried either the gerber or similac soothe formulas in the light purple package? What are your thoughts.

    I have not. I believe they are both a whey dominant formula which is supposed to be easier to digest. Someone suggested the Gerber Soothe to me, but we had already switched to a formula that agreed with my son. I am using Earth's Best Sensitivity which is also whey dominant. Consistency wise it seems a lot closer to breast milk than the others we tried. Downside is that it is pricey. He has no issues with it.

    I used Gerber Soothe for LO's first 6 months.  Every other formula made her really gassy and fussy but she did great on it.  The only problem with it is that it tends to clump.  Even when we would shake the bottle for what seemed like forever, there would still be a few clumps in it.  But I would take a few clumps over a fussy baby anytime!
