OMG GUISEEEE! So in addition to the cut-out I had people sign for my friends going away party I made a bunch of envelopes that said things like "Open me when… you miss us" - "Open me when… you've finished unpacking" etc. Everyone filled out different ones and I filed out the last one and attached it to the top of the pile that said "Open me when… you get on the plane." Well in there I tell her I'm pregnant SQUEEEEEEEE. Her flight is at 2:30 and I just can't wait for her to open it!!!eleventy!!!

Aw that's adorable!!!

My random is that my bachelorette party is this weekend and I'm so excited! I don't know what I'm going to wear! I got a nice pair of jogger pants but I don't know what to do with them.

Bummer alert: My IL's are awaiting blood results for their 9 year old JRT who has been acting lethargic and hasn't eaten since Sunday...the vet fears it my be due to kidney and/or liver failure. I don't pray, but prayers accepted for Dakota.

I have a job interview at 2 and I'm super nervous. It's been years since I have been on an interview. I'm also trying to keep this quiet from my current job and it's driving me insane.

Im so sorry, I have a 9 year old yorkie Im so attached to and would be devastated. Prayers Dakota, hopefully it isn't that serious.

we are going out for manis and pedis then dinner at Los Andes and vanity after...never been to either place! Now everyone can come!

YUM! Love Los Andes, tasty sangria and the portions are huge. I was at vanity on Halloween for a minute its fun and you're so close to Lolas/Hotclub/Whiskey and the Piano Bar if you feel like bar hopping. Yay for Bachelorette fun!

Prayer for Dakota! @Amjoy25‌

We are leaving for NC in the morning with 3 of our couple friends and I'm soooo excited!! This will be the first trip without LO so I'm a little nervous and already miss him but I know this will be good for me and DH!

I am leaving for a work trip to Vegas in the morning. My goal is to try to be functionally drunk the entire weekend.

It was totally my fault because I always supervise them together, but I was distracted by making dinner and wasn't watching. Lately she has gotten very grabby with him, and kind of cornered him and grabbed his paw and I couldn't run over in time before he reacted.

It did draw blood, but the cut was pretty small and shallow, so it wasn't terrible, but it LOOKED terrible because it was right over her eye and it got all bruised and swollen.

I was stuck in a glass case of emotion Monday and Tuesday bringing her to daycare. I told them what happened, but I was so self-conscious that they all wouldn't believe me and think either that I was a terrible mother for "letting it happen" or think something worse, like it wasn't really a dog bite.

I finally told the daycare teachers about #allmyemotions and they gave me the sympathy and validation that I needed, so I felt better that they believed me and weren't about to call CPS.

My poor grumpy old man dog made it a whole year being a good boy and is constantly giving DD kisses. I think I just got comfy and let myself be distracted from supervising them. Won't happen again.

ugh - how scary! I'm glad it was only a small cut. this is my nightmare all the time. A couple moms in my mommy playgroup have had this recently too. The dogs always get them right in the face

Now that babies are mobile its much trickier. We have actually put up double gates in one area because the dog tends to lie right next to the gate and I was afraid of little fingers sticking through, so we have a gate, and then 3 feet away, we have another gate. I live in a house of gates. We have spent like, $600 on gates in our house.

This thread is all about dogs.

My BIL's awesome pit mix just got diagnosed with lymphoma. Not sure yet if they can treat it. Heartbreaking.

My dog has a growth that I am getting checked out on Saturday... but he has had them before and they were benign, so I am optimistic.

@baconface lymphoma is one of the more chemo-responsive cancers. even if they don't decide to do chemo for whatever reason, as long as the dog's quality of life is still good, they can use steroids to get some temporary improvement

A dog in our building had to be put down this week and I am so sad for her family. She had a blockage in her intestine and by the time they did surgery 80% of her intestine was dead and had to be removed. I'm so angry that the vet just kept hydrating her and sending her home for a week. She was only 2 and a half and the most beautiful Golden Retriever I have ever seen. I have been giving my pup extra snuggles because I'm so sad about his lost friend. Chewie keeps looking at me like I'm crazy and I need to leave him to nap in peace.

My inlaws are in town and I had to come in to work to cover for my boss while she goes to the doctor. I'm grateful for this break.

@baconface a few months ago, DH fell asleep with LO on the couch. She rolled off and landed on a Hulk action figure, face-first. When we took her out the next day, most of the bruising just looked like bad scratches, so I told everyone she scratched herself.

@muffyvonmuff‌ I saw your announcement this morning. I am so excited for you! I'm dealing with a stomach flu right now, and up until I got sick, I was so ready to TTC this month. Now I'm terrified of morning sickness and am team #nosex again.

I tell DH about each announcement and now he's jealous and mad at me because #nosex and #nobaby.

i wasn't hungry during normal/acceptable lunch time, and i'm hungry now, 3 hours later, but feel weird about busting out my meal at my desk. (i always eat at my desk). i might have to go hide in the bathroom and eat....not really. i'll just snack until i get home.

I just signed up for stitch fix deliveries every couple weeks as opposed to every few months. I texted my husband this and he replied with a picture of my closet, which is bursting at the seems. He's got a good point, bit #cantstopwontstop.

I asked my mil two months ago if she would babysit on the 22nd so we could go to a wedding. I text her to confirm today and she's like oh I can't because I have this black tie work function. Okay so that's annoying but thankfully his grandparents will do it.

My kid is so smart. We've been working on signing and she's figured milk and more and yesterday she finally got please. But it's taken a good few weeks for each, an now im trying to teach her all done and help.
