Is it a recent problem? That was happening to me and it turned out to be reflux even though I wasn't having any heartburn. I started taking Prilosec every morning and the problem has eased up a lot.
It really depends on how far along you are and like the above poster said, how long this has been going on.
Maybe the pain is what you eat on an empty stomach, certain foods are really hard to digest with nothing else there, even some fruit can give me a stomach ache on an empty stomach, apples, for example.
Hummm i haven't thought of that. I eat at least one apple a day. Its been going on since week 20ish and I am a little over 37 weeks. It's getting worse.. my husband keeps trying to get me to eat more. It could be reflux I just dont feel any heart burn. I will try something for that. I am almost done but I worry so thanks for your advice ladies!
I have a hard time eating, too. 37 weeks is almost done and your poor tummy is probably so crowded it's very uncomfortable to eat. I eat a few bites of a meal and I feel stuffed and my stomach hurts. Also - I have found that apples hurt my stomach and it turns out I have a slight food allergy/intolerance to apples.
Thats is so crazy! Who would have thought apples? I am addicted I buy them in bulk at Costco and go through them in about a week. I ate one this morning on an empty stomach and nothing happened. I am def paying attention to how I feel now after I eat a certain thing. I heard raw veggies can be hard to digest. So I will be careful with that too. @runnergirl4 I hope your tummy troubles go away soon! Thanks for the feedback. @TashaPlusNika yogurt smoothie sounds like a great idea thanks!
I didn't have much of an appetite my entire third tri... I had a week or two around 35 wks where I wanted all the food, but other than that, not super hungry and am nauseous most of the time I just power through it and eat for baby's sake but at this point I'm like tired of food... Never thought id say that, let alone while pregnant lol

I'm never very hungry when I'm pregnant. With ds #2, I only gained 14lbs and so far (at 33 weeks), I've only gained 6lbs this time.
Not only do I not have an appetite, I have heartburn (which I am on prescription meds for) and I feel "full after about 3 bites of food".
