Pregnant after 35

active baby

Is you guys baby as active as mine..

Re: active baby

  • I don't know what's normal, but I think my LO is pretty active.  I feel him move several times a day, and then more at night.

  • Funny you mention this...bc my LO has been going at it all day today. And now I think she has hiccups.

  • I thought my DD1 was really active but this kid is a maniac! It really is nice because I never have to worry if she's ok and stuff. At all my doc appts I keep telling them it feels like I have a prancing pony inside...
  • I've been feeling the flutters & vibrations for the past 2 weeks but last night I think I may have felt something more... or maybe I was dreaming... seemed like a tap, down low, happened about 7-8 times in the same area right before I fell asleep - does that sound like a baby kick? :)

  • I feel two kinds of movement.  The first is muscle twitches in the same spots, unprovoked.  Apparently, the twitches are part of LO's normal growth of the muscles and nerves.  The second kind is in response to position changes or if I eat or drink something.  I've tried to look for the hiccuping but I really don't know what I'm doing there.

As nice as it is to feel LO and get a signal that things are OK, I am not looking forward to the strong nightly kicks, or the bladder/organ kicks!
  • @NeonNoon I love your ticker today.

  • I felt the occasional movement here and there, but in the last week it has become really noticeable.  Especially when I'm sitting straight up in my work chair, and usually after I eat. It's like a tap, tap, tap!
