I belong to this committee in my town that cooks meals for a week for families that have new borns. 2 women just gave birth and I want to sign up to make them something. One has a 3 year old, the other this is their first child. I was thinking I should do something that freezes well in case they dont want or need it that specific night. My initial thought was lasagna but then I figured maybe everyone would do that. What are some other good options? My list right now is Lasagna and Minestrone soup with turkey meatballs ha.
