Buying LO shoes on Ebay?

Ladies, do you buy shoes for LO off of Ebay? I just bought her some new tennis shows from Stride Rite but I'm wanting to get some boots for A. I dont want to pay so much for shoes she's wearing months at a time only. I was looking on eBay and see a lot of ones she could use. If you buy them, are you washing them or anything prior to use?

    Thats kindof how I'm seeing it. I spent more for her everyday shoes since she's in them all day long at daycare but I want some boots for the weekend wear when we're out and about.

    We've only ever bought used shoes for C, and we've never washed them.

    I got a huge box of hand me down shoes from my neighbours. I still by her everyday shoes new, but I plan on using boots from the hand me downs. Don't see any need to wash them since she will be wearing socks.

    I buy shoes off ebay just go over them with a disinfectant wipe. No major washing unless it needs it.
