It's because the little cartoon time he gets is all bubble guppies. He won't watch anything else. It was fine the first 5time but now I want to put in earplugs. Especially since the songs get stuck in my head.
I'm pretty sure that DD is going to end up with ADD/ADHD from TV at night. But I need to watch my shows!
PS - I at least turn her away from the TV when in the exersaucer and have been trying to get her on the playmat more. But if she's in my lap she's watching TV
I want to decorate for Christmas right now, I'm already listening to a Christmas Pandora station at work, and I roll my eyes every time someone complains about Christmas music in the malls or that Thanksgiving isn't even here yet... Who cares! To me, Christmas is a way bigger deal than Thanksgiving both for religious and personal reasons. I don't even mind that Christmas stuff gets set out in stores before Halloween. It is after all "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!"
@sarahs11 - I LOVE Christmas and cannot wait to decorate! I overall love this time of year (September - New Year's) and have already broken out the Christmas music a few times.
@amberatkins8 - I've worked retail during the holiday season - only part time but I actually really enjoyed it.
@amberatkins8 I have, in fact, worked retail... especially during the holiday season. Sure it's busy, people can be rude, and it's non-stop Christmas music, but it still didn't get me down. I personally think that teaching around holidays can be more chaotic than working in a store at the mall. Again, just an opinion... but I've done both multiple times
@AandJ28 I'm glad I'm not the only crazy that has already listened to a bit of Christmas music!
I love a good beard. Everyone I've ever dated has had facial hair and my H has a magnificent red beard. He's shaved it once since I've known him and I vastly prefer it when he has a beard. I really don't get the weird stigma about facial hair in the professional work place. My H is an engineer so he doesn't run into that a ton, but even his boss tells him to shave it even though it's perfectly manicured and short and never unkempt at all. I personally don't care what your hair looks like facial or otherwise, just do your job.
I disagree that a beard=unclean/unkept. Like someone else said, you've never met my DH. When he is able to have a beard (ie when he is out of work >1 week) he grows one and he keeps it clean, washes it after he eats and keeps it well groomed. I said it in FFC that to me a beard/hairy man=manliness=sexy. I wish DH could keep a beard/goatee but he can't because he is in law enforcement (doesn't make sense to me either @Lcgroenewe). We've been together almost 17 years and I've NEVER seen him clean shaven except in old pictures.

Red beards are definitely the hottest beards out there. DH has brown hair but has a ruddy beard
DH has had both - the crazy, homeless beard look and the well-kept, trimmed beard. Unfortunately a beard is rare with his work, so I've only been able to enjoy the post-stubble look a few times but it is magnificent indeed.
This may be a FFFC but I don't bother DH to shave as long as he doesn't bother me about shaving my leg hair :P
I'm not sure how much of a UO this is. The United States should not spend 6 billion dollars to help fight Ebola in Africa. We have our own shit here that could use that money.

This. I am a huge sap for Christmas. I love the big meals, always in jammies, the music, the ambiance of a decorated and cinnamon scented home.
I HATE no shave November! I think beards make a man look dirty and unkempt. I hardcore judge anyone with a beard before I even get to know them!
Disagree. Beards are hot. If my husband shaves it makes me irrationally angry. He looks like he's 5 years old with no beard.
My DH has a goatee and used to have a mustache but it was bugging him so he shaved just the mustache off and now he seriously looks like he's 5. I can't stop laughing at him. But I'm with you on the fine line and don't find duck dynasty guys hot at all, especially since I do hair. The whole time were watching an episode I'm itching to trim it up and make it look better. Someone needs to tell them that you can have a beard and comb your hair all at the same time ha ha

I wish I could of liked this multiple time's. I guess my UO is why does the united States always have to be the country to save everyone else. I'd say based on the government we have that maybe we shouldn't be the example for other countries. No one ever comes and saves us from anything and yet if we side with one country another is threatening war but if we try to stay out of it then a different country is threatening. Africa is using the Ebola virus as a weapon of war in their own villages so why do we have to go in and fix it?
Dh can't pull off a beard, it makes me sads. He isn't allowed to have one at work ( @cinnamonsmiles I think our husbands are in the same line of work) so I suppose that isfor the best.
Yes! And the not being able to have one definitely changes things. DH keeps telling me that once he's retired, he'll have a full beard (since he's going to be bald by that time anyway). We'll see how long that lasts
The beard thread! Lol, I love my hubby's beard. I don't think he looks as good without it. It's a baby face that looks weird to me. To each their own, no right or wrong answer to the beard question.
I'm eh about Christmas. I do think it is to commercialize and has been hijacked by retailers. I resent holidays that 'require' me and is expected to buy things for other people. Don't get me wrong, I love to get people things, but I prefer to fill a need or want to pressure and obligation.
I absolutely love love love Jim Carys 'how the grinch stole Christmas'. Prob one of my favorite movies.
I've never been a fan of beards around here (southern CA) they're a majority of hipsters with unkempt facial hair. Wish someone would teach them how to trim it up and keep it clean... SO much sexier! On that note DH has been leaving his face to run rampant and I've been hating it. Yesterday morning he was shaving and started with the patchy sides which never grow in and cleaned his neck up and I LOVE it! He shaved the rest off and now I don't like him clean shaven!
