(PS my iPad has lost the ability to cope and paste (whaaaaat) and so I can't really gif anymore. Cue sad-faced animal gif).

I haven't painted my doors yet, but I'm 95% sure I'm going to. I bought a paint sprayer and I have to paint some molding with it tonight so I'm hoping that will give me the courage to start painting more things with it. I told myself I would paint all the trim around the doors and windows white before I officially pick a color for the doors because I think just the trim is going to make a big difference and I want to see that first.

We're at my mom's house in CT... it was my grandmothers and has been in the family for ages before that. So now it belongs to my sister and me. My husband and I have been cleaning each room and doing some minor clearing out of stuff (I don't want to make any major decisions without consulting my sister) and all I want to do is rip down almost all the wallpaper and paint. And paint doors. And reupholster some furniture and get rid of others.

The house was built in the 1700s and I found a crack between floorboards today that is almost two inches wide. GOOD THING MY MOM SPENT ALL THAT MONEY ON REPLACING THE WINDOWS AND INSULATING THE WALLS since there's pretty much nothing between the living space and the cold, cold basement. Ah well.

That was off topic. Alas. Yay painted doors!

I thought you were going to say there was some hidden room/cellar that was a part of the underground railroad, or had some hidden treasure, or something.
