I've lost a lot of weight over the last year because of the diet I am on and am at my lowest weight since having children, however, my body is soft and saggy from lack of exercise. My muscles are literally non-existent and I guess since I'm nearing my mid-30s I should probably start worrying about heart health and osteoporosis and all of that stuff.
Now that I'm home full-time I can't afford a gym membership, nor do I have time to workout outside of the home (or the energy to do it before kids wake in the morning or after they are in bed at night). I figure I could manage throwing in a DVD a couple times a week and doing it in the living room while the kids play or try to do it with me.
I was a dancer a long time ago (ballet, not exotic....lol), so I like that kind of thing. My only other preference for the video is that it has clean language, as it will be playing while the little ones are around. Any good recs?
Re: Rec your exercise DVDs
I also really like my "The No Om Zone" DVD...I'm not in any way, shape, or form a yogi, but I can get on board with this girl and her no-nonsense approach.
I also love the Bar Method DVD and the Exhale: core fusion DVD series. They're both based on ballet movements (sort of), and they are really fun and effective.
