  I don't use this site much. I know someone who has a bunch of Instagram friends from their baby group, so I am trying to start something up. I just thought it would be nice to see other moms like me when I'm scrolling through Instagram! I didn't mean for this to come off as being sketchy, but I can see how it come off this way now...

  I'm can tell you without a doubt nobody here is going to give you info so you can follow them on Instagram. We have been here as a group getting to know each other for 2 years now and you just pop in trying to get info/pics from us and we don't "know" you from Adam.

  Thanks daffy2k, I got the phone ap. wasnotwas- Sometimes it's support to see other people in the same boat as you and not feel like the only one with a 17 month old. Instagram is just what I have been using. I am by no means saying that it is the best way to communicate, but it's easy and I am familiar with it.

  Well you have come to the right place for support but I don't know that you should be comparing your boat with the pictures of other peoples boats. It's like I always say..."the boat is always greener on the other foot"

  OP, I don't want to jump all over this but you've got to realize how odd it seems.  For one, let's just deal with this: You are not the only person with a 17 month old and if you ever feel like you are, well, you do need to get out more, love.  Everyone alive has been 17 months old so it stands to reason there are lots of them continuing to grow the population.

  
  

  You won't get anyone willing to Instagram with you.  God I'm old.  You can't use that as a verb...or can you?  Do the Instagram?  Damn kids, get off my lawn and all that.

  Ok, well sorry for everyone for being "weird"...geesh:-S . I'll just keep trying to figure out the bump ap. I am excited to start using it. Is their any way to add another baby on the ap, or do you have to have a separate email?

  Now that everyone thinks I am a creep, I'll introduce myself...

  My name is Alisa. I am a young stay-at-home mom (23 years old), married to Kevin who is currently an ICU nurse planning on attending CRNA school in May. We have two babies. A very independent 17 month old daughter named Carly, and a 4 month old son named George. While my babies are napping I do school work. I graduate this winter with a degree in Social Science. My hobbies are spending time with my babies doing fun activities, anything crafty, church and family. I hope you guys can get to know me a little better and we can eventually all become instagram friends! hehe joking. not really though.

  It is nice to know that so many people actually use this site. I would use this over instagram seeing that so many people get on here, I just didn't know that was the case!

  Ok so you seem real and legit even though the Instagram thing was weird.  For realz, no sarcasm, do people really "connect" by just putting up random pictures of their kids?  I'm being serious because I don't get it lol  Like, how does that help you at all?  "Oh, that kid also shreds toilet paper all over the house!  Glad I know it's not just my kid."

  I personally like to use instagram. That is what the majority of my friends use and you don't just have to follow people that you know either. Granted, I mostly follow people that I know, but I also follow other usernames. Some people have accounts dedicated to one thing, such as quilting, diets, exercise, or in my case, my instagram is pretty much stay-at-home mom type of stuff like whatever activity I am doing with my kid that day. I follow some other moms and its just fun to see what other moms/babies are up to and spread ideas.
