Best reusable (non-disposable) soothing breast pads?

Hi - I have baby #2 due in January, and I remember my nipples were really sore the first few weeks with DS. Also I had supply issues.

I've heard good things about "soothies" breast pads, but I'd prefer something that does not need to be thrown away. Some of those you can use multiple times or up to 6 days, but it still seems disposable.

This looks like it might be good - any thoughts or other recommendations?

Sorry for the long link. And I know my nipples will get used to it and toughen up, and I plan on using lanolin too, but I figured it can't hurt to try something else if people recommend it. Thanks.

  • I was initially just looking for cold. I've never had an issue with mastitis or clogged ducts before. But when I was reading about the one I linked, some of the reviewers said that it helped their supply, so that is appealing to me since I had supply issues before.

  • How old is your first? I had bad nipple pain the first time, but none the second. They are 22 months apart.

  • @TheBorg7of9‌, my first will be 25.5 months when DS2 is born, and I stopped nursing him at 11 months because my supply dried up.
  • Thanks, @Byjove03‌, I'm mostly looking for something for soreness and to boost my supply, but that's a good point about maybe only needing them for the first few weeks.

I have the Medela washable pads and some Bamboobies too (heart shaped - ha ha). They worked well for me too.
