If you are looking at the city jogger, buy buy baby has it on a sale where you get the second seat free (a savings of $169). The stroller itself is $500, but it is compact and lightweight compared to other doubles.
City jogger selects don't normally. I will have to look into the Phil & Ted's. We have been looking for something good that will hold two infant car seats.
I just tried it online and it didn't work. We actually went to the Buy Buy Baby that was an hour away (other than target and walmart everything is that far for us anyway). I'm wondering if you could order it at a bed bath and beyond and get the same price or over the phone with Buy Buy Baby. A lot of times companies are willing to work with you.
That deal is on amazon actually. I have it in my cart right now, when you click checkout it takes the second seat off. We have amazon prime so it's free shipping too. I am so excited, you have seriously made my week. @finallyourturn2
This is a long-shot, but does anyone have experience with the city mini glider board that attaches to the back of the stroller? As much as I love the double, I think we can avoid spending the $500 since DD pretty much hates the stroller.

I have it- the stroller doesn't fold flat with it on. I am also 5'2'' and I find it difficult to push the stroller with DS on the glider board without kicking it.
Try no double ateoller and if dd puts up a stink and doesn't want to walk- you could always get one later on.

It's def not compact or lightweight. I have one. It's heavy, and it needs to be dismantled before going in the trunk. My boys are 5 and 2 and the weight of them plus the stroller makes it pretty much impossible to push them in it. It's a good stroller, don't get me wrong- it's just big and heavy.

The older versions of P&T needed to be dismantled, but the newer ones (i.e. since 2010) all can be folded up without dismantling the 2nd seat. Heavy is relative... it only weighed 3-4 lbs more than my single stroller, from what I remember. I still used mine this spring with my 6 and 5 year olds at Disney!! 80lbs of children in 1 stroller is heavy no matter what, but it was easy peasy to steer despite that.

Thank you!!! The not folding flat thing will drive me crazy, so good to know!
I love my baby jogger and am super excited they have a new graco infant seat attachment. Ds will be almost 4 come march so I don't want to buy the second seat. This is a great deal though! Paid over 500 for mine! I just hate that every attachment has to be bought separately.
