Hello ladies!
Haven't posted in a super long time...
But I need some tips, advice, suggestions!
Since baby has been here and being at home, I find myself quite often forgetting to eat!
What are some of your go to foods?
Do you prepare things at the beginning of the week for yourself throughout the week?
Fav go to foods?
TIA
Re: Remembering to Eat
Last week I made overnight oats in jars, a double batch of pumpkin oatmeal breakfast shakes, and hard boiled eggs to have on hand and it's helped tremendously. I also baked and froze veggie muffins before LO was born and just pull those out and pop them in the microwave for a quick snack.
I keep a lot of fresh fruit on hand but need to get in the habit of grabbing it when I'm hungry since it doesn't usually appeal to me unless it's cut up or with something else (e.g. slices apples with peanut butter - much more appealing to me but it takes a few minutes to prep versus just grabbing a whole apple).
During the day, I'm lucky to find time for cereal, a grilled cheese sandwich, or scambled eggs.
I make sure to eat SOMETHING no matter what, it's important for BF'ing to get enough calories.

And I like to keep things around that are easy and fast. Cheese sticks, bananas, apples, pretzels, etc.
When I really need to just grab something, I have a spoonful of peanut butter or a bowl of whole plain yogurt with raisins or dark chocolate chips, a clementine, baby carrots, etc.
It's pretty quick to whisk a few eggs with shredded cheese and meat/veggies and pour the mixture into a muffin tin. They bake in about 15 minutes and then you can grab mini quiches out of the fridge to eat at all hours!
I also keep cheese and sliced deli turkey handy for mid afternoon snack.
