Induced. I thought my water broke and went to L&D to see. They thought I had a high leak but not completely broken so they were going to send me home to wait it out. Then they saw how high my BP was (it's never been high before) and decided to induce. I had been having BH for a few days but they never got strong until they started me on pit.
I voted special snowflake, I had braxton hicks starting at 18 weeks, but the day I went into labor I started having them at 2am about 2 to 5 min apart not painful, then finally at 7pm they were real contractions and were closer and longer from then on till I had little man.
At my 36 weeks appt on a Wednesday I had a cervical check and I had absolutely no progress. My husband had an out of town trip that weekend and the doctor said, "Go on your trip! She's not having this baby." Saturday morning my water broke and we had her in the afternoon.
BAM for me. I started having contractions that were 6-7 minutes apart. I went to the hospital anyway and my water broke as soon as I settled into the hospital bed. An hour later, my LO was born.
Re: Which of the three would you say BEST describes your labor this time around?
