Nothing new going on here yet. I made my first dr appt and that will be on the 20th.
Hubby is happy and relieved that i have it scheduled and he is anxious to hear all is well. He is really happy when i have crappy nauseous days......to him that means baby is there and growing (he is crazy!)
While we are not sure when we will announce we made our announcement photo for when we do. I was super excited about it.......now Im not crazy about it. Hubby wanted to hurry up and do it since we have very busy lives over the next few weeks. That left me very little time to prep and let the idea develop. I had a slightly different vision. It included baby/parents magazines (which were NO WHERE to be found anywhere!)on the table as well as the pickles and ice-cream. Looking back back i wish i would have re thought the money in the shot but its still sort of funny....but I'm questioning is it tacky. All in all the photos is supposed to give clues instead of be an outright announcement......but a couple friends who know didn't put it all together right away.....so i made the little blurb on the bottom. No way will i get hubby to redo this.......so I'm stuck with it or not use it at all.
I had my AS last week. Everything was normal, I am pleased to say. I'm very appreciative of the extra energy I have now. I'm using it to finish off some pre-Xmas projects and make some headway with exercise.
Not much new here - waiting for results of the CVS test and hoping for further improvements in energy levels (now I can stay awake until 9pm; it used to be I could hardly keep my head off my desk at work by 2pm). Otherwise, I'm having what seem to be standard pregnancy gastro issues. Next appointment isn't until December 5 so I'm debating whether to get a fetal doppler. We're also getting ready to tell our parents, if the CVS results come back fine. I'm dreading that a bit because both sides can be difficult and can tend to want to micromanage all situations, but I also know they will be happy.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of you ladies over on the P>35 soon!
Not much new here either, waiting for my follow-up A/S scan to get some clearer images. Feeling pretty good, I feel like I might actually get some work done today. AND I may or may not have felt the baby kicking last night (or I may have been dreaming), but I felt a light tapping way down low, about 8 taps before I drifted off. Could that have been my first communication with my LO??
Good luck to everyone with upcoming appointments! My FU is in 8 days, can't wait to see him again! I'm excited for you to tell your parents @marijaa333!! FX for good CVS results too! I decided not to get a fetal doppler b/c the nurse/OB has a hard enough time finding the HB in the office, and it seems like by the time you're able to find it yourself, you start feeling the flutters/vibrations (which give great reassurance), so we decided to save our $$ for other stuff!
@KirstenAlecia -- that is great!! I don't think it's tacky at all, gave me a chuckle!
ME: 38, DH: 42, stopped BCPS 1/2013, TTC #1 2/2013, AMH 0.4, started acupuncture: 7/2013, BFP: 10/07/2013; MC 10/15/2013 @ 7 wks (natural), focused on health issues for 7 months. TTC again: 6/2014, 2nd round Letrozole, BFP 7/7/2014!!! --- EDD 3/18/2015!!!
Not much to report here I think. I had my first prenatal blood work done yesterday, after a visit to my GP. I'm wondering if I should call her office tomorrow or Friday to ask about the beta results.
I still haven't told anyone except the BF. I am desperate to tell my folks but I'm trying to wait another week or two at least. Maybe week 8 if I can wait that long? @marijaa333 Best wishes for great CVS results and with the parental reveal!
AFM: Had my glucose test this week and thankfully passed! Also got my iron back - all good - so no iron supplements for me - YAY! Feeling more run down / achy last night and today but hoping to get some energy back. At the recommendation of my midwife, I did get a maternity support band - still trying to figure out if it is helping / making a difference or not. Can't believe I am in my 3rd tri already!!!
Sending all you ladies lots of positive wishes - hope to see you on PG>35 soon!!!
