Was your LO born with hair?

Has your LO's hair fallen out at all?

If you're a STM, were both LOs' hair and hair loss the same?

DS1 and 2 were both born with hair, and both lost it just on the top of their heads! Major receding hairline!! DS1's hair didn't grow back in until he was 1.5yo or so, and I was hoping DS2's wouldn't fall out the same way, but it has. Perfect baby hair on the sides and in the back but the top is bald bald bald. Looks like an old man! Anyone else?

My baby was born with a lot of hair and I'm noticing that it is starting to fall off. The poor little girl has an old man receding hairline and it's thinning in the back! Also, she has dark hair on her ears! It must be the remnants of lanugo since she was 12 days early, but I'm anxious for her to lose it! I don't want her to go to preschool with dark hair on her ears! Haha I have read that it will most likely fall off by 3-4 months.

Yes, both the twins were born with hair

Has your LO's hair fallen out at all?

Alex's hair has not fallen out or thinned at all. Her color has lightened just slightly. Drew's hair has thinned out & is receding slightly. His color has also changed from very light brown to almost a strawberry-blonde color.

Barely... I think his ear hair is longer than his hair!!! Nope, not enough to notice really!!

All the kids have basically been bald and never lost any... However there have been variants on color!

Bryan was born with a good amount of brown hair. It is all there and growing longer.
He also has black hair on his ears.

His hair is thicker than mine but not as thick as Dh's hair.

All three were born with hair and it didn't fall out. Ds2 ' s hair is getting so long in the back that I may have to trim it in a couple weeks.

DD was born with dark hair...pretty much all in the back. Wish it was in the front too because it would be beautiful head of hair.

I don't feel like it's falling out and in fact I feel like the front is starting to grow in a little.

DD was definitely born with way more hair than DS and his was also pretty blonde. I'm hoping DD doesn't get the "stick up straight like I stuck my finger in a light socket" hair when it comes in more like her brother had.

C was born with a headful of dark blond/light brown hair. It doesn't like any of it has fallen out. Instead, it is growing longer and more seems to be coming in.

DD was born with dark hair like me, but it has started to fall out and looks like it is coming in lighter. Her Dad is blonde, so it will be interesting to see what she turns out to be.

DS was born with a moderate amount of brown hair. I don't think any of it has fallen out. But it does seem thicker in the back than on top.

DD1 was born with black hair. It fell out and she got the old man receding hairline. Grew in blonde.

DS was born with reddish brown hair. Fell out and came in white.

DD2 was born with a ton of black hair, it never fell out and turned blonde over time.

DD3 was born with dark brown hair. Tons on the side and back, but nothing on top. So weird.

She was born with quite a bit of blonde hair. It receded. Now at 7 weeks it's getting longer and it's strawberry color. Its a little curly after her bath time. If I don't brush it down quick enough she gets a faux hawk that curls over. I think it's funny so I leave it and last time mil was licking her fingers and trying to stick it down I was all "what are you doing?!? Have you never seen Pink?!?" Also gross grandma stop licking my daughter kthanx

She was born with brown hair in the back and sides but she had the receding old man hairline from birth. I think her hair is starting to get a little thicker now but the old man hairline is still there. She's also starting to get a little bit of length in the hair at the back of her neck that we are calling her rat tail.

Drew was born with red hair and it all fell out except for a patch in back. It has grown back in but is super blonde.

Reid was born with brown hair and it is starting to fall out on top. :-( curious to see what it will be when it grows back in.

DD was born with dark curly hair and it looks like it is growing and not falling out!

DS was born with dark hair but not as much as DD. His fell out by about 2 months and he was bald until after his first birthday. It grew back blonde!

DS was born with dark hair but it's pretty sparse on top. I've noticed it's getting longer by his ears but not on top! When direct sunlight shines on it, it looks a little reddish.

All 3 have had heads full of dark hair, no hair loss, but the older 2 lightened up considerably in the first year.

When DS1 was born, he had enough hair to comb. When my dad found out, he said, 'But none of my kids ever had hair.' Yeah, well, Dad, this is my kid. It was light brown, like mine, but looked reddish in certain lights. Never fell out

DS2 has a head full of light brown peach fuzz. Same color as DS1 and me, but not worth buying a baby comb/brush at this point. Nothing has fallen out this far, but no growth either.

DD had a good amount of light brown curly hair. But it all fell out around two months and she had peach fuzz and three long whisps on the top of her head until she was 8 months.

DS has hair for days. He was born needing a trim. This is him at 6 weeks and even though SO's mom swears some of it has fallen out, I have yet to notice it.

DS has a little bit of dirty blonde hair on the sides and back of his head. It doesn't seem to have thinned at all yet. Here's a pic of his MOTN baby bed head.

none fell out, but it is getting a bit lighter. I love it.. It's sooo soft. Plus LO loves when you play with it, all smiles. :x

DS was born with the usual baby amount of brown hair. It has lightened up but hasn't fallen out yet.

DD was pretty bald until almost 2. Now she has fine blonde adorable curls and still barely enough for a ponytail at 2.5 years. Still hasn't needed a haircut! It has made our morning routine easier not having much hair but she was often mistaken for a boy even if she was wearing a pink dress because people are dumb. I loved and miss her little bald head.

DS was born with hair, but not a whole lot. He also started thinning out even more on top, lol! I still can't figure out what color it is though... really, it could be anything.

Both girls were born with hair. My second daughter has different hair, as in a bit more and darker brown. My first daughters hair never fell out except for the bald patch on the back from sleeping. It has lightened to a multi-shaded blond and at almost 3 we still have a few issues with keeping the back combed down nicely from the baby hair still at the ends!

DS was born with a decent amount of black hair, while my hair is red and FI was blonde at birth and its darkened over the years. 3 wks now, and still hasn't lost any. Fx that he doesn't!

DD was born with very little dark brown hair which mostly fell out around 6 weeks old. She had a balding old man cul de sac on the top of her head. Now, hilariously, that's the longest hair on her head.

DS was born with a ton of dark brown hair. It hasn't fallen out yet, but he's not yet 2 weeks old. Remains to be seen if he loses his hair as a newborn, and also as an adult since there's a great history of baldness on his father's side.

DS has a TON of jet black hair. He was famous at the hospital! Lol. He's not quite 2 weeks yet but doesn't seem to be thinning. Actually seems like it's getting longer. It's growing past his ears.
