Sort of. Our Christmas card this year will have a cute picture of DS, but I don't think I'll put baby's birth info on it. Just holiday wishes from the H family.

I'm just doing Christmas cards. I never got around to doing birth announcements for DD, so to keep it equal I'm not doing them this time either.

I don't see why you couldn't do a combo though. Maybe have the text read "The _________ wish you Seasons Greetings (or whatever salutation you prefer) and are proud to introduce their new addition _______ born on ______ at ____ __lbs ___ inches!

Yup. I don't want to mail that many items to the same people just a few weeks apart, aside from the expense. I plan to mail them just after thanksgiving.

I already sent my birth announcement. They were Halloween related. We'll do a family one for Christmas! If she'd been a month later I would've waited and combined. I'm all about cheap.

We did birth announcements that went out last week, with a newborn picture and will do Christmas cards with a holiday picture or family picture on it. But in our circle of friends almost everyone does an announcement in the first two weeks and Photo-christmas cards so it didn't feel aw-ish.

I think we will combine ours. I'm excited to finally send Christmas cards this year! I've been trying to get DH to send them for years and he wasn't interested. Now we have DS, so he's game.

We sent out a birth announcement and we'll send out a separate Christmas card. I sent out Birth announcements for my other two girls so I felt like I needed to for LO too.

I'm combining. All 3 kids on front with holiday message and one of just baby on back with stats. I use Shutterfly for everything so I will wait for coupons!

Yes, I am combining, although I haven't found a design I love yet. I will include photos of both kiddos, but focus on DS2.

I talked to DH and we decided to do a very small batch of some announcements I found on Etsy. We'll do a combination announcement/Christmas card for a larger group of friends and family.

Separate. I want DS2 to have his moment.

My sister is a graphic designer and designed them for free, plus I got a great deal on printing through smartpress. They will go out tomorrow. We will do a photo of each of the boys for Christmas cards but those won't go out for at least another month.

I planned on doing the combo, and still will in spite of the fact that some of DH family members were "offended" we didn't send an announcement out the week after LO was born! So unchristmas of me but they need to get a grip. DH isn't even close with most if his family and the ones that were upset he's only met a handful of times. Ugh. Mini Rant done.

I am planning on doing separate ones. They will go out kind of close together because we don't have our pics back yet but I like the idea of doing an announcement separate of the Christmas card.
