@jodee37, every time.  It makes me happy in some ways because I know it means he loves his baby sister and is still excited at the thought of having a sibling but it mostly just shatters my heart.  I've kind of grown to predict when some comments are coming and brace myself but he throws out some new ones that catch me off guard or brings up the topic out of no where.  Like his "I thought we were going to bring a baby home" from last week.  That one was a new one.  And when I was telling him recently to stop messing with the ladybugs because if you're too rough with them they die and we don't want them to die, he says to me "and we don't want babies to die."  Also a new one.  But I think the one that takes the cake so far is when I picked him up from pre-school and had the dog in the back seat because we were going to be heading out of town after I picked him up and I excitedly said to him in his classroom and front of his teacher, "you know who's outside in the car?"  And he of course said yes because he always says that when you ask him a question like that.  Then his face lit up and he excitedly said "baby Layla!"  Reaffirming that his sister is dead and never coming back while standing in front his teacher and other preschoolers was....a weird cocktail of emotions.  Ugh why the fuck do our kids have to know that babies die already?

And that marks the end of my AW dear diary loss vent in the middle of the KUFMO.  @Designer303, I'm sorry for derailing your thread in my very first appearance!  :)  I promise I won't be a problem child every week.  I've just missed being able to spew out my emotions to you guys!

I am 2dpiui. I had a completely different experience this IUI, my bladder wasn't as full (or at least thats what I am blaming it on) and so they had a little more difficulty getting the catheter in, but they were able to. But I had horrible cramps for about 36 hours following. Last month I had cramps through out the whole TWW but these were bad enough to make me walk funny and no position was comfortable except lying flat on my back. I am just happy they have subsided. Good news is I had 2 great follicles and DH numbers were almost triple than last month at 14.7mil (last month was 5.3mil) so I feel hopeful!

@designer303 You are amazing with this post every week! FX for you this tww!

@Cheesypeas I have no words, because I can't even imagine hearing that from DD so I just send hugs and FX for #2 soon!

Hooray for a new cycle. I just stopped spotting yesterday, so it was a lot of spotting. Hoping things are much better this cycle.

DH and I have also started looking into adoption, fostering to adopt and adopting embryos. DE IVF is too expensive for us (no fertility insurance) and adopting embryos is 1/3 the cost. Part of us thinks if that's the route we go, we prefer both not be biologically related versus a donor egg and his sperm. Silly, I know, but he feels very odd about it all.

I'm still feeling optimistic things will happen naturally, but we thought perhaps investigating our options and educating ourselves about the ins and outs would take pressure off "making" it happen just one way.

@cheesypeas that made me tear up. So sweet (of your son) and devastating all at once.

Sept 2013 started TTC#2 (never got PP period so hoping for the first egg to drop)
Jan 2014 - diagnosed POF (Premature Ovarian Failure) and told pregnancy not possible without egg donor because my ovaries would never function again with my hormone levels (FSH 136, LH 98.6, AMH <.03, estradiol 0, HCG 7) - using acupuncture, chiropractic care and TCM herbs / supplements
March 11, 2014 ovulated despite every doctors prognosis!!!
Oct 2014 hormones (FSH 48, Estradiol 89, HCG 1) not good, but heckuva lot better!

Nov. 16, 2015 FET of single adopted 5AA embryo - BFN

@Cheesypeas - I am so sorry - that is really difficult and my heart aches for you.  ((hugs))

@designer303 - It's been a rough week with a lot of hours in the RE's office.  They threatened to cancel my cycle on Monday because my estrogen was not high enough - I went a little nuts on them because this happened in 2011.  RE agreed to give me two more days of stim.  Today things look much better and we're back on track.  I am not as good as all of you at getting all the info - but I know from Monday I have at least 5 follicles on the right and 8 on the left. And @potatocastillo I am on 225 Menopur still so I'm with you - it burns like hell - by far the worst injection.

We have a plan. Thi HSG was successful-ish. The dye was able to go in and showed that my cervix has essentially curled over onto itself which seems to have created a membrane that was stopping anything from getting out (or in) of my uterus - hence the no bleeding for the past 3 years. The 'obliterated' look of my uterus was likely caused from the D&C 2 weeks PP and never having created new lining or shed any lining since then.

So I am on Estrogen - for the 4th time. Since the surgery last week, their hope is I now have an opening and the Estrogen will actually cause a period. At this point, I will believe it when I see it. If this doesn't work, I will have to consult with another specialist to figure out why I still am not bleeding even though my body is creating hormones.

So what, in 20 days or so I should know it has worked? 10 days of hormones, 10 days waiting? I go in for monitoring next Friday, I will ask then.

    Kid #1 - 09/03/12
    Kid #2 - maybe???
    Diagnosed with Severe Ashermans
Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
#11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh

Also, while I am grateful that my grandmother was able to come and take care of my house for a few days, I told her to feel free to leave early. I couldn't take hearing her tell me one more time to just love the one baby I have and at least I have one. Seriously, why do people say that? It really is not comforting.

@CheesyPeas‌ I'm so glad you're back! I lurve you, lady! I love that your LO loves Layla but I can't imagine how hard it must be to stand so strong when you get into those conversations. It's so hard to explain that kind of permanence to a little kid.

@designer303‌ You're an amazing detective- well done again!

An interesting update today- I have had some stabby pains on what seems to be my right ovary. I had my annual checkup on Tuesday, so I wonder if my ob-gyn pissed off a cyst or something when he did my exam? It's not constant, but every once in awhile I get a few pangs.

@CheeseyPeas, I'm so sorry.  I was just shy of 13 weeks when we found out about our first loss.  My daughter knew about the baby; we had purchased big sister books and a t-shirt.  She still asks as well, and every so often talks about what we will name her sister.  Since obviously it wouldn't have been a boy.  It is heartbreaking, I know.  :(

@fuzzbumble, I'm so sorry you get hit by those comments too.  Loss is a bitch and burying my baby created a heartbreak and emptiness in me I never could've imagined but the realization that all of this hurts and disappoints my living child weighs on me every day.  And I know that weight of feeling like we're failing our living children is something every one of you on this board carries through 2IF too, and I fucking hate that.  I wish we could all just like teleport somewhere for a great big group hug.  And maybe a big playdate for our kids.  Distract them from the siblings they should have by now. :)

    November 2010 - 10.5 week loss  o:)
    October 2011 - DS (7)  <3
    July 2014 - Stillborn DD (24 weeks)  o:)
    August 2015 - DD (3)  <3
    April 2018 - 5 week loss o:)

@CheesyPeas and @fuzzbumble ((Hugs)) to you both!  That has got to be so very hard.  I know my heart will break the day my DD asks for a sibling.  She sometimes calls her imaginary friend her sister and that is sad in it's own weird way.

Hugs to all that need them. I've been laying low riding out my first cycle post chemical pregnancy. DH's SA came back normal except low morphology (2% when 4% is normal). Maybe an IUI next month. Not set in stone yet.

Well IUI 3 is another bust. I will let you know when my CD1 is so I can officially join you. The plan is to go for one more IUI right away because my insurance changes in January. For the first time it will cover $5,000 of IVF. Not a ton of money but if we ever find a way to go that route financially- I want all of that money to go to the IVF and not to our 4th IUI.

Looks like I am spending my first official month as part of KUSMO mostly on the bench.  Day 3 ultrasound found cystville.  Doesn't look like they are active but there are 5 there are over 20mm so no IUI for me.  We can try naturally though, so at least theres that!

14 DPIUI.  No signs yet of AF.  I did an HCG trigger shot last week on Friday so they told me not to test until Monday.  I am only CD25 today.  They did 2 U/Ss and determined that I was ready to do the IUI on CD 11.  I'm a little leery and feel that was too early, but my cycles are so screwy... who the hell knows.  I have had achy boobs for 1 1/2 weeks now and a little queasiness this week.  But, I also did a lot more hormones this time around, so it could just be from that.

@CheesyPeas-- I am so very sorry you have to keep reliving your loss like that.  Our son was 2 1/2 when I miscarried at 16 wks  Luckily, he didn't even know I was pregnant.  He's asked for a sibling multiple times, but he always says he wants a big brother.

Hugs to you and all of my SIF sisters.
