So Behind!!

Soooo my entire nursery is in the boxes they came in weeks ago! The only thing I have done is organize toys!! I am feeling so far behind this time and with the holidays creeping closer I know I need to get my act together but we just have so much going on! Please, tell me I am not the only one!!

    Um, you're totally the only one. Haha, KIDDING!!
    Our nursery is a mess too, and I need to get in there and organize. The only reason our crib is set up is because we never took it down when DS2 moved out of it. Other than that, the room is full of random boxes of baby stuff and toys that my boys have outgrown. We still have tons of time.....right?! ;)

    At least you have the boxes. We have a roommate in the nursery till 11/15 and not a single piece of furniture purchased yet. She will be in our room for a while and we will likely be moving in August so I'm not too worried about setting up a perfect nursery just to tear it down but every now and again I panic.

    I still have a move coming up at the beginning of December, we have the crib and travel system and some other big things. But I am freaking out!! My shower is next weekend and I will feel a little better after that... But I'm ready to get everything put together!

    We are adding a bedroom to our house. So right now I have 3 kids in one bedroom. The good news is the baby can sleep in your room for the first couple months or longer if you don't mind and everything can be gradually. I love having everything ready and put together but these days (especially since this is my 4th baby) when people ask me what the nursery "theme" is I just laugh hysterically.

    You're definitely not the only one. We just started painting today! This is my nursery right now and a pile of baby stuff, most still in boxes. My house is a disaster at the moment lol

    The nursery is still SO's office/man cave. It was supposed to be cleared out & the garage converted to his new space last month. Didn't happen. He projects a December finish date & I laugh. In the meantime the things we do have for LO (mostly clothes) are laying around the house in various piles. I hope to have it done before LO is a year lol

    The bed I ordered is here in town on a truck somewhere. They won't deliver it unless I'm home to sign for it. I can't get off work and DH is out of town. So it will just sit on the truck for a week or so. I want to get it so I can get that room in some type of order. It's driving me crazy!!!!

    Hahahaha! Baby number three. We have one new outfit for her so far. DH will probably pull the pack n play out from the basement while I am still in the hospital.

    I just posted about this last week too! I just got my travel system delivered Halloween night...but I have no furniture in the nursery & it still needs to be painted! Plus, there is still crap in there that needs to be cleared out (mostly DH's stuff). I know it will get done, and I am a big procrastinator, but this time, I want it done NOW!!! So, you are not alone!!!

    You guys have stuff? Lol! My shower/sprinkle/hey party cause a baby is coming! is this weekend so I'm gonna wait to see what all I need after that. My family tends to be show offy with gifts (luckily cause with my twins we only had to buy some onesies! I even had diapers through size 4) so whatever we get will be a nice jump start. We plan on just keeping baby with us in a pack n play for a while tho. She's our last so I wanna keep her small as long as possible !

    We just ordered our crib and dresser for the nursery but it wont be in until early December. So you're ahead of us!

    You are not alone! Our nursery looked like a dumping ground for cardboard and ikea shelves until last week! I was actually amazed at how quickly things started to come together once I actually had a day to work on it. Keep in mind these photos are very specifically on the one corner I have looking like a room! The rest is still a mess! The only reason that corner got finished was because the glider was a shower gift and I wanted photos for my thank you cards :)

    Your defiantly not alone haha. I haven't even started painting the crib and mattress are in the dining room and his clothes are still in boxes since I've had a lot of people send me their pre used outfits. I'm waiting for my shower to get the rest of the furniture since someone said they would get it and same with the stroller and car seat. So if he decided to come in the next few weeks I would be screwed!

    I've only bought 2 zip up sleepers.

    I don't need anything though except a dresser.

    I'm debating on if I should buy a Nb stash of cloth diapers, or just use disposables for the first 2 months. He's my last baby.... so it's not like I'll use the nb stash again. I know I can resell them, but not sure I want to go through with the hassle.

    I may get a few though, because....ADORBS! :)

    Congrats on having boxes! I have done almost nothing. We have to transition DS first (his playroom is turning into the nursery and he's still in his crib/toddler bed) so until we start him on those changes we can't do a whole lot. Good thing is we have his new bed in his room, just don't have any sheets or anything for it yet. Our weekends have been packed solid for the past 2 months and DH is out of town this weekend so we won't even be starting anything until next week. I figure the new baby will sleep in our room a while. We have a carseat. It's not hard to run to walmart and buy diapers or carters to get a few packs of onesies. we're fine! (wow second child is so different)

    My sister has all of my things and she plans to give them back to me right after Thanksgiving. So I am feeling a little behind. I have the car seat though and she didn't borrow my bassinet- so we have a way to get the baby home and a place for him/her to sleep. :)
