Confession: I must eat all the candy.

The last three days have been a struggle to not eat all the candy I can find.  From Halloween, I got a taste for Bottlecaps (there were some in my son's bucket, and he didn't like them and I was all to happy to help him).  Now I'm constantly roaming the hallways at work trying to snag candy from the bowls people put out.. I've just made my third trip today.  It is embarrassing.  I can't wait until the holidays are over and the food fest has died down.

Any other candy cravers out there?

    I've ate an embarrassing amount of my kids halloween candy.  I normally don't have much of a sweet tooth and even DH noticed I've been raiding their stash.  I was extremely disappointed in the pack of bottle caps I just opened... all red and purple.  Where are all the good orange and cola ones?!

    You speak blasphemy.  Everyone knows that the red ones are the best. ;)

    We did not have many trick o treaters this year and have so much leftover candy. I been eating so much of it.I tell DH to take the candy to his office but he forgets so I just keep eating it!

    Check out the Jimmy Fallon video about eating your kids candy. It is hilarious! Some of the reactions from the kids are a bit disturbing but all in all it is funny. :)

    There was a candy dish at work for customers only...I swiped ALL of the Snickers out of it and stashed them in my desk just for me :)

    My kids have 6 pounds of candy no joke we weighed it! and It is killing me... at dinner time I'm like, "I'll have 10 pieces of halloween candy with my steak. Forget the veggies."

    On my way up to bed at night, I typically say "I didn't have dessert, so I'll take a handful of these with me and eat them in bed."  This started the week before Halloween when I ripped into one of the bags we bought to pass out to the trick or treaters.  I'm trying not to do it to my son's candy, but he says he won't eat the chocolate, so there is no guilt from that if I eat it.  Typically, I'm not a big chocolate fan, but at this point, I'm blaming the babies who keep insisting that Twix, Snickers and Reece's Peanut Butter Cups really ARE what I want to eat.  

    BTW, there was an Oh Henry bar in his bucket on Halloween night.  Now, either I've eaten it in my sleep, or I'm competing with a stealthy DH... no fair.

    I ate 15 (yes - FIFTEEN) Reese's miniatures as my lunch today at work. In a meeting. In front of other people. Who were speechless/disgusted/jealous.

    I then nearly passed out at an optometrist appointment an hour later. Sigh. Candykarma.

    I ate an entire pack of Andes mints, I love them cold from the fridge. Of course that much artificial mint has left me with an awful stomach ache, but it was almost worth it. ;)

    I keep taking candy from all the candy bowls at work... It's gotten so bad, that people keep dropping off candy for me. I even overheard this conversation today.."give it to Ms. SunnyBeachBum, she'll definitely eat it" :\">

    @snowbigdeal‌ - I think it was probably the equivalent to 7 or so regular sized cups. So nearly two "King size" packs. (In a half hour meeting.)

    Why the hell have the candy manufacturers started highlighting the caloric intake on the front of the packages in addition to the rear? Now I can't escape this information. Front and back is extremely unnecessary and makes me feel oh so guilty as I plow through them. Thanks so much for the reminder that this is equivalent to a 2 and a half mile run. Grrrr.

    Omg YESSS!! I bought 3 bags of candy for Halloween and had ZERO tricker or treaters. I doubt my stash lasts more than a week longer image

    I just put a note on my door saying "sorry the pregnant woman that lives here ate all your candy" which i did Bahaha but don't worry I still have candy out! I just ate a lot of it! Soooo good
