Pregnancy Support Belt?

Does anyone use these?  Do they help?  Recommendations?  I am so bummed, I was super active before getting pregnant, runner (last year ran the NYC Marathon), teach spinning classes 2x a week and have continued with exercise throughout pregnancy (approaching 25 weeks Friday) but my back is destryoed!  I had a sciatica episode that brought me to my knees last week.  Doc told me no more spinning and someone else suggested a support belt, said it could help some?  Any thoughts?

  • I would skip the spinning class, my support belt is great when I am standing, but sitting its pretty uncomfortable. Think about wearing pants that are too tight then sitting in them.

  • I wear the Gabrialla support belt when I run
  • I had one with my last pregnancy and I feel like I'm getting really close to being in one again.

  • I've tried two different ones. A thin band that was a total waste and an atlas. I love the atlas. It is wider in the back like a weight belt. Worth every cent since I'm on my feet all day at work.
