Update on 2nd Opinion RE appointment

DH and I had a heart-to-heart 2 days ago and we decided to interview another RE. The first available appointment was December 30th. I asked them to put me on their waiting list and I got a call today for an appointment tomorrow. I'm a believer in signs.... We are on bench to see if my Hashimoto's antibody levels come down and DH SA retest for December.

I'm nervous and excited at the same time. Reason for the switch: Lately I have been questioning certain protocols made by current RE. DH from the beginning didn't like the office, however, there was only 2 approved RE's under the insurance. Aetna has an infertility program and it gave me coverage for 6 IUI's. We've done 3 IUI and 5 medicated natural cycles all BFFN. As we are down to the last 3 IUI's I want to make sure we have the right protocol. I should have added this to my Ignorance is Bliss post - I waited too long to go see another RE. I'm just nervous and anxious. I have a list of questions to ask the potential RE. I didn't mean for this post to be so long.... DH and I have chosen not to do IVF, the most we afford right now is an IUI Mini-Stim. Should we disclose that from the beginning? The feeling I'm getting from current RE is that since we have chosen to not do IVF, they are not as vested. Your thoughts?

***Update*** I am really happy we met him - he seems genuinely interested in finding out the right prognosis and reviewing all my history before placing us on the right protocol. From the initial consultation, new RE believes I have PCOS due to insulin-resistance. We're now just waiting for old RE to release my documents to do a Mini-Stim IUI w/Gonal-F or Follistism.

July 2014 DH starts clomid 25mg daily SA 53.8 Mil count, Motility 37%, Morph 3%;
September 2014 DH Repeat SA after being on clomid for 3 months 42 Mil Count, Motility 36%, Morph 2%
October 2014 Me: Hashimoto's DX, DH taken off clomid;November 2014 Me: new RE PCOS IR Diagnosis
December 2014: IUI #4 Follitism 75iu 7 days, TI, IUI & Progesterone, BFMFN
January 2015: IUI #5 Gonal-F 75iu 7 days, TI, IUI & Progesterone, Another BFMFN onto IUI #6

    @lemonliz @bluefairy5 thanks, my gut feeling was to disclose it right off the bat. I just needed to hear it from someone else. :)
    @rainbowbridge14 @triathlete23 I don't want to get my hopes up too much, but I'm so very grateful for the quick appointment.

    I'm so glad you got an appt right away! I agree that you would do best to be totally forthright with the new RE so they can think of the best solution for you.

    Just wanted to stop by and say good luck today! How great you got a cancellation appointment!!! Remember to advocate for what you want. Sounds like you and your husband are on the same page, so make sure the RE is on the same page too  :)

    June 2014 - Dx w/ significant PCOS and referred to RE.

    July/August 2014 - Testing complete: Testosterone & AMH very high, FSH slightly high, Vitamin D low, tubes and lining all lovely. DH SA: A+

    Cycle 1 (Nov 2014): 2.5 mg Letrozole/Ovidrel/TI = BFN

    Cycle 2 (Dec 2014): 5 mg Letrozole/Ovidrel/TI - BFN

    Cycle 3 (Jan 2015): 5mg Letrozole/Ovidrel/TI - BFN

    WTF consult scheduled for 1/29
