M- toasted ham and provolone sandwiches with roasted red pepper and tomato soup
T- ranch house pork chops with garlic Parmesan mashed potatoes https://realmomkitchen.com/287/ranch-house-crock-pot-pork-chops-with-parmesan-mashed-potatoes/ (but I'm putting the potatoes in the crock pot to cook with the chops bc I am lazy and have no time to boil potatoes after work)
W- buffalo chicken sandwiches in the crock pot with regular and sweet potato oven fries
Th- leftover pork chops
F- leftover buffalo chicken
i'm also thinking about concocting noodle soup with trader joe's refrigerated rice noodles, chicken stock doctored up with garlic/ginger/soy suace, trader joe's baby kale mix, and poached eggs.
i realized i have 2 packages of tofu in the fridge, so i might make sweet and sour tofu (the recipe i use is similar to this one).
i'd like to make turkey burgers with sweet potato fries later in the week, but that's pending a trip to the supermarket for turkey and buns.
Haven't decided the order yet. My weekend got a little thrown off having to work Saturday. Some are rollovers from last week.
-spaghetti squash pizza pie -red pepper goat cheese alfredo -homemade pizza -ham and bean soup in the crock pot -chicken curry -leftovers on the weekend
This thread makes me reconsider my response related to WM and three kids. And it might belong on the vent thread.
I didn't make it to the store for food this weekend.
M - Tilapia/frozen veggies if DH will make it while I take DD to the ped at 5:00. If he forgets, nobody eats because the kids are disasters with the time change.
T - chicken parm in crock pot if I can make it to the store tonight instead of working after the kids are in bed. If not, hell if I know. I have a board meeting at the same time as two GS meetings in two different places all at the same time. Oh, and an extra kid who cannot attend any of those three things. So while diner will be made, no idea who is eating it or when.
W - DD is making pancakes and eggs and fruit salad if I can get to the store for more fruit. DH is going to have a total meltdown over breakfast for dinner and my response will be "someone who is not me offered to cook".
Th - Tacos/quesadillas. Rethinking this as we now have a jump party at 6:00 with pizza. So maybe pizza.
Friday - No idea. DD has to be picked up from a birthday party at 5:30. Tacos/quesadillas?
Monday- left over turkey chili Tuesday- chicken with white bean salsa Wednesday- chicken and veggies Thursday- crusted portobello with bleu cheese Friday- grilled cheese
