My DD has bronchitis and we are on breathing treatments every 4 hours. Does this include over night or just awake time? I didn't think to ask this morning!
We were always told to play night by ear...if he was having trouble sleeping or his breathing sounded labored then they wanted us to go ahead and do them. When he was hospitalized for dehydration and possible pneumonia they were doing them every 4 hours, even through the night. They let him sleep while they did them at night - he never woke up or even flinched when they turned the machine on so if you're concerned about waking him and getting him back to sleep, you could try to do them without waking him.
If you notice her coughing and think she needs it, you can always do blow by (just put the mask/tube by her face) without waking her
