This time on DHEA...

I am just feeling down and anxious. My acne isn't too bad yet and I haven't developed full blown night sweats yet so that is good. But we have rats in our basement and I feel sick about it all the time. And I am having nightmares about them. I am also feeling overwhelmed about shipping our sperm and alternating between not wanting to try vs what do we do if we have extra embies. And I am feeling panicky about what these hormones are doing to my body. I also have to work 4 24h shifts in the next 5 days and I am coming down with the cold DS has and I just want to crawl into bed and hide for a week. Can anyone offer some reassurance and add some rational thoughts to my hormone induced crazy?

    The hormonal crazies means the drugs are working, right? However, the anxiety sounds awful. 

    I hope you feel better and get through your shifts. It will be totally worth it when you have the sweet baby or know you left no stone unturned in the quest.

    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    Thanks you two. I was born anxious but these hormones bring out the "best" in me. Everything you have said carries weight in my heart. Thank you.

    Hang in there Kaf. I don't have much to add but I'm rooting for you. Also I had a LOT of mixed emotions about moving forward with our FET. I found my head going a million different directions on it so I can certainly relate to that aspect.....now that I'm in it however that has passed......good luck, better days ahead.

    So sorry you are having a tough time. Those hormones are enough to drive a person nuts. I hope you get through your shifts ok. You are one hard working momma!

    Oh Kaf.  I'm so sorry dear.  That sounds like a really rough work schedule on top of everything else.  I can't even imagine.  Big hugs to you.  You are in my T&P.

    I'm sorry you're having such a rough time! I will add my own "ditto" to the verbalizing the anxiety - sometimes when the words come out of my mouth and I hear them not just in my head, I can handle it better. It's a lot to think about and our brains aren't the best when our innards are being manipulated! Hugs and calm thoughts to you, girl! :)

    Thanks everyone. I am feeling a little better health wise today and the first 14h of my shift haven't been bad so I am in a better mindset. I will keep you posted and I appreciate the unrelenting support even when I have become an infrequent responder to others lately.
