Is anyone else having trouble breathing?? I find myself sometimes gasping for breath. My doctor said it's common and likely to get worse as the months go on, but does anyone know of any techniques that help?
I have a bell and a DH...enough said! Okay...I have a DH, but no bell...but the thought is tempting!
I agree w/ pp, I have to slow down, especially up stairs. I'm very ungracefully learning to accept my new limits and just know it's going to get worse before better.
I went up the stairs to fast this morning and had to lay down afterward, because I over did it. lol. Stuff that use to be easy for me is now much more difficult.

@cls78 I feel ya! If I have to go up and down twice because I forgot somwthing , forget about it, I have to sit and catch my breath for a few minutes.
Yep, I go through this too. Sometimes it's the way I sit or lean forward. Doctor said it was normal. Everything is being pushed up with the baby growing.

Funny story, my sister and I are twelve years apart, when I was old enough and she wanted something she'd ring a bell and expect my brother or myself to show up and get it. When I got married she got me a really pretty engraved Cinderella bell as a joke, when she visits when baby comes I'm busting that baby out and getting revenge!
I get winded very fast. Especially on stairs. And when DS insists I carry him up the stairs, I have to lay down for a couple of min to catch my breathe. I have to remember to slow down sometimes.
This makes me laugh because it was my first major pregnancy symptom (after the first tri). I was super scared and upset becaus I thought my asthma was out of control. No amount of inhaler seemed to work and it felt different from an asthma attack. I told my brother over the telephone and he explained it was "shortness of breath" a very common pregnancy symptom. I checked with my HCP and sure enough, so it was. Lol, I was a wreck over nothing!
Anyway, sorry you're dealing with it, too! I hope the other posters' advice about slowing down, etc is helpful!
