@Pitchslap - I hope you've recovered from all your social necessities and that you were able to curb the snacking as a result!

  • Last week I finally stayed committed to a program. I allowed myself only two pieces of Halloween candy: a Reese's cup and (gasp) Dots :)

    This week I will be doing two short runs and a 4 mile run, some cross training and 10k steps the other days.

    Goal: lose 25 lbs by Christmas and run a half marathon in March.

    I voted early last week to avoid the madness today. I'm so happy the TV ads will stop.

  • Last week: I got two runs in, and played soccer although I didn't want to.  My ankle is still bothering me from time to time but it's more during side movements so I'm not as worried.  I may try to wrap it.

    This week: Run today, hopefully a short one Thursday and Saturday night is my half.  I'm also really trying to eat healthy so I am regular on race day.

    Goal: My goal now is to have fun on my half marathon and finish.

    For those US ladies - are you voting today? I had planned to go when the polls opened but LO woke up and I didn't have the heart to wake DH after getting home at 6ish, so the plan is to take turns going once I get home this evening.

  • Last week: diet and 10,000 steps a day. Giving up booze 2 months ago has helped!

    This week: more of the same.

    Goal: tone up!
