Ho Ho Ho! Decorating time...

I have decided to decorate for Christmas. ...tomorrow! ! We usually do it around mid Nov. But I figured with 11 weeks left and naps being had everyday, I better get to it. Looking forward to it. Anyone else getting theirs up?

Oh my gosh - I wish!!!  DH won't let me decorate until after thanksgiving.  So until then, I will fill up the house with pumpkins, leaves, and cornucopias.

What? I hadn't even thought of it yet! I have fall up already and will leave that for awhile. Although you are making me think that maybe I should do some of Christmas early this year, like the weekend before Thanksgiving. I DO have to really get organized and pre-plan, since we are having my brother's family stay here and I want it to look nice, even though I will be huge and almost due. Plus there's my post a little down about doing too much. I know things just keep getting harder and I have SOOO much to do, so I probably should do whatever I can early.

I've started freaking out.  Does that count?

We're pretty tame in terms of decorating, but I have a bunch of projects and to get done before we host the in-laws.  That starts tomorrow if I get enough sleep tonight.

No no no and no.   No Christmas decorations allowed in this house until after Thanksgiving. Gavel. Period. Respect the bird!    We always do ours the weekend after t'giving.

We take down the monster stuff and leave the rest of the fall stuff up between now and then though.

This! Decorating for Christmas will be limited as my girls are coming this month though.

I always decorate for Christmas either thanksgiving night , or "black Friday" . We will see this year. I have until thanksgiving to clean and organize the whole house. I'm not looking forward to spring cleaning in the fall. Lol

I love Christmas but not that much in a hurry! I was just telling a friend yesterday that I might just put the tree up. I might be a tad lazy this yr to decorate whole house. Just thinking about packing it away exhausts me :)

We usually decorate Thanksgiving weekend, then get a tree the weekend after that. I'm pushing to get decorations up the weekend before Thanksgiving this year. I'm not sure about the tree though. Every year, we end up wishing we had it up longer. But if we get it too early, it will dry up and look terrible. Plus we have a toddler now. Toddler + tree = huge mess.

I've always wanted a real tree...but middle DD had asthma and both her and youngest DD are allergic to a bunch of different trees. So fake it is.

    No way! After thanksgiving!
I will be buying more holiday decor too! I told hubby now that we will have a LO I intend to make every holiday very festive like my mom did for us.
When my daughter was little i was a poor single mom and the best i could do was a tree with homemade ornaments (which are the BEST) but always wanted to do more! So while Im totally ready to bring on the holidays......after turkey day!

I thought about doing Christmas decorations this year, but baby could come anytime after  then, so figured I didnt want to have to deal with taking them all down afterwards with a new baby - next year I'll be able to go all out for baby's first Christms - how fun!!

Well exhaustion won out every time I wanted to get the tree up a week or so ago. It did go up yesterday and there was a nap in between when me and my girls started to when I finished.
