2. When is your next appointment? Thursday is my first ultrasound appointment! I'm very nervous and excited
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? I'm feeling good that I haven't had any spotting like I did with my first pregnancy and I'm happy to be having m/s and pregnancy symptoms to sort of reassure me that things are fine. Hopefully I won't have the rug pulled out from under me at my appointment on Thursday.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? I am getting excited to tell the rest of my siblings. Yesterday was one of my brothers' birthday so we told him since I'm not sure when I'll see him again (plus I was feeling like crap). If all goes well at our appointment this week then we'll tell my oldest brother, his wife, and my niece and nephews this weekend. And then we'll tell my 3rd brother the following weekend when we're supposed to see him. I'm a very open person so I'm excited to get to the point where we can openly tell all of our friends and family.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Through mutual friends on Saint Patrick's Day in 2007. I remember looking him up on Myspace when I got back to my dorm room that night :-)
2. When is your next appointment? Ultrasound on 11/11
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? I'm doing OK. I went in this morning for another beta draw and should get the results later today. My betas have been lowish and slowish to rise. (61 at 4w, 112 at 4w2d, and 284 at 4w6d -- with doubling times of 54 and 71.85 hours, respectively). I am really hoping for a nice big jump with today's number so that I can go into my U/S with some hope.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? Eating! I am really trying to eat well and get enough calories and nutrients, since that's pretty much the only thing I can control right now.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We met when he was dating a friend of a friend and we were both seniors in college. Fast forward a year later and we both ended up going to the same law school. We were friends throughout the 3 years of law school, both dating different people in the meantime, and finally became "more than friends" the summer after we graduated and have been together since.
2. When is your next appointment? Thursday! Last appointment with the RE, FX!
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Eh, ok. I had a dream over the weekend that I started bleeding and I couldn't get ahold of H to meet me at the hospital. That was fun to wake up from.

2. When is your next appointment? Thursday... not sure all of what is happening at that appointment since I've already had a confirmation appointment, exam, and u/s
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Not good. My symptoms keep coming and going and it's freaking me out. I was just over 9 weeks when I discovered my mmc last time and the baby stopped growing at 7w6d, which is when we had our u/s this time around. I just can't wait until the next chance to see my baby and know everything is ok.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? The other night when I was going to bed, my husband came in and kissed me, the two cats, and my belly goodnight. It was the cutest thing.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Through his friend that I dated

2. When is your next appointment? Nov 10th
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Ugh. well last week I had a lovely US and saw a very strong HB. I was on cloud 9! That lasted a whole day before PGAL brain came back and I am just as nervous as before.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? watching my ticker get closer and closer to 2nd tri!
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? we had mutual friends, he had asked around about me and everyone told him he wasnt my type. Then I posted on myspace(!) looking for someone who had an extra ticket to see Interpol and he had one. The rest is history!
2. When is your next appointment? U/S on 11/11
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Doing well. I had some brief spotting last Tuesday that had me in a complete freak out for a few days. Luckily, it has stopped and honestly didn't amount to much. Just enough to mess with me.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? That our families know! We were going to wait until after our u/s, but I've been so sick that I just got tired of hiding it. It was a huge weight off of my shoulders. I hate lying.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? I was 17 and he was 16. I worked at a summer camp where he was a camper (boy scout camp). It was his last year there and he worked up the courage to ask for my number. Obviously, as a girl at boy scout camp, I got that a lot, but I could tell something was different about him. I gave him my email address instead and the rest is history!

3. How is PGAL brain treating you?
Good and bad like all of us. Sometimes I freak out if I don't feel a symptom strongly that day. I'm going to ask for an ultrasound when I'm at the midwife on thurs. I just need to know what's going on in there!
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)?
That I finally have an spot this week!
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO?
My husband and I were high school boyfriend/ girlfriend when we were 15. I moved to the south and we broke up. Fast forward 15 years later and he reached out to me when my father passed. After awhile of long distance dating I moved home to my hometown and we got married
2. When is your next appointment? Tomorrow afternoon and it cannot come soon enough!
3. How is PGAL brain treating you?
Meh ok - my symptoms come and go and it freaks me out. Not good. My symptoms keep coming and going and it's freaking me out. Since I measured 6 days behind what I should be last week, that has me a nervous wreck as well - I'm praying things have caught up or we at least see a heartbeat tomorrow.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? My DD's 3rd birthday is coming up in December and we are taking her to Disney so we are busy planning that. I'm so excited!
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Through mutual friends - we were both with other people when we first met. My ex was a douche and his ex cheated on him and got knocked up while he was overseas for the Army. When he got back to his tour our friends set us up for a date during his welcome back party - we've been together since.
2. First midwife appointment is next Thursday, the 13th. First scan probably won't be until 12 weeks
3. Crappy. I had just the TINIEST bit of brownish spotting today and it's sent me into a tailspin. I hate being nervous everytime I go to the bathroom or feel the slightest twinge in my abdomen.
4. Having this secret with my husband. I lovethatwe're the only ones who know.
5. We met at work...at my interview actually. He wasn't my interviewer but I had a meeting with him so he could explain his job, which would also be my job, to me. I think I knew something that very first time.
2. When is your next appointment? I will have a quick checkup and my second ultrasound on November 18th. It'll be my "peace of mind" ultrasound as that is around the time I had my loss in the Spring.
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Okay. Some days are better than others. We just told BIL and MIL and for some reason, opening up to others makes me feel like I'm setting myself up for something bad to happen.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? That I'm closer to 2nd tri than when I got my BFP
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? My sister introduced us at our town's small summer fair my senior year, 9 years ago.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Ehh I feel like I haven't let myself fully believe I am pregnant because I'm so afraid to be too happy. Sounds crazy I know. But we lost our twins at 19 weeks so we thought we were in the clear and over the moon excited. So I'm afraid to be that excited again
Current pregnancy joy? Today my mom I went to get some maternity clothes

3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Its been a ROUGH week. Lots of anxiety while waiting for this appt!!
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? We saw our babys heartbeat this morning!!!!!
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We met at church!! We both worked in the youth group as volunteers and somehow never met til after 3 months of volunteering. It was a total God thing. lol

5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? Hmm, that's a fun long story, but I'll try to make it short. Friend that I grew up with had a thing for me so when he found out I was single again he asked to get together and hang out. He told me that we would be meeting this other couple for dinner and movie at their place only to find out "the couple" was DH and another girl my friend knew who'd he'd told to play along so he could have a surprise date with me. Needless to say it really didn't work out for him as DH and I talked all night and the other two fell asleep on the couch - rest was history.

3. How is PGAL brain treating you? I've actually been feeling a lot less crazy lately. Trying to just take it a day at a time. But, I'm feeling pretty anti-social lately. I'm a terrible liar and I don't want to be confronted with the question of "why aren't you drinking?" I just don't want anyone to know or to guess.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? Just purchased newborn care books. I can't wait for them to arrive.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We were set up on a blind date by a family friend of mine. DH was his client - when the stock market crashed in Oct 2008, DH told our mutual friend that he owed him a date. That date ended up being me.
2. When is your next appointment? My first appointment is this Wednesday 11/5, then a sono apt. next week.
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Ok. Dealing with some anxiety witch is annoying because I'm not typically anxious about things. But I'll probably be anxious until after my 20w sono to make sure everything is ok since that was when we found out about our last baby's condition and she was born a week after.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? Starting to tell people because this is my 4th pregnancy and I'm totally showing.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We worked at Old Navy together when we were on high school in 2003. We also went to the same high school but he was a year ahead of me. We got married in Dec. of 2005.
2. When is your next appointment? The 18th for a 2nd u/s and blood test, 24th for a follow up with my ob

4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? Getting closer and closer to 2nd trimester
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? My sister introduced us. They were friends. She didn't like my current bf and thought that we would be much better together. She was right!

3. How is PGAL brain treating you?
Mostly okay until today. I woke up with the bloating all gone and I feel thinner than I have since I got my BFP. So needless to say that worries me. I have been wearing maternity pants since 6 weeks and today I have on regular pants.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)?
I saw the heartbeat again at my appointment last week. Then I threw up on Saturday for the first time, so that all makes me feel amazing (minus the grossed out part).
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO?
2. 4wks. I had my first appt today! HB is 164 and edd has been changed to June 11th.
3. Fine now that I know baby is OK.

3. How is PGAL brain treating you? It's okay. Sometimes I allow myself to get excited, sometimes I examine toilet paper for spotting and try to convince myself that DD is enough, in case this pregnancy ends in a loss.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy (other than being pregnant)? I'm finding it hard to think of one at the moment because I am so sick with a cold...and can't take anything! I guess, when I do have the symptoms, I am happy for them because I take it as a sign that the little bean is really in there. I think it's a boy.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? At a bar. Superbowl 2009. Unlimited wings and Blue Moon. My friend was trying to talk to his friend, and there wasn't enough room at the table so I ended up sitting in his lap. It's true folks. The rest is history. We got engaged 6 months later.

3) It's actually been ok. Since I have been feeling miserable, I don't have much time to worry. It's also reassuring to feel pregnant.
4) Telling some family. It makes it feel more real. It's hard though because one side of me doesn't want to"jinx" it or have to untell people but the other side wants to share the joy because today I am pregnant. It's tough!
5) We actually met at a bar. But he was a friend of my sister's boyfriend, who's now her husband, and came out to celebrate his birthday and we hit it off that night.

3. How is PGAL brain treating you? It's really been kept at bay due to feeling absolutely awful all the time and having acne like a 13 year old... plus on Thursday we saw a HB of 130 bpm and are measuring ahead! The hard thing for me right now is how guilty I feel for hating how I feel. I keep saying how thankful I am that I have symptoms, and I've said to myself no matter how hard it gets I'm going to count my blessings every day that I am pregnant. But it just never lets up and I find myself wanting to fast-forward past this point and I hate that. I know it's worth it, and I know I'll survive, I just needed to let that out. Thanks for listening. I'd send a treat your way, but looking at food makes me dry heave.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? Watching my DH shake the hands of his best friends after we announced our news to them. He was so proud and was smiling from ear to ear
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? I saw him from 5 courts away playing sand volleyball and just had to meet him! I walked right up to him in front of 6 of his friends and hit on him (although he had no idea that's what I was doing until later haha). I had never done anything like it before. We subbed on each other's teams for a few weeks in a row after that, and the rest was history

3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Everyday is different. I am different in this thread(I think) in the fact that I carried my baby boy full term & lost him at 7 weeks old. Anyways last night I dreamt he was ok so I thought and grieved a lot for him today. But being pregnant is everything to me. Very very grateful for that.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? Being nauseous & knowing I'm sick because of my little one continuing to grow as I haven't had many symptoms lately.

2- When is your next appt? November 24, seems forever!
3- How is PGAL brain treating you? Well, for me it was getting over the 6 week hump, that's when my ectopic happened. Once we saw the heartbeat, I felt so much better. Then, last Thursday happened, and I started bleeding heavily and went to the doctor and was diagnosed with a SCH, again. I had one with DD a few years ago. But the baby has a very strong heartbeat of 187!
4- Whats your current pregnancy joy? Watching my belly grow, and counting the days until the next time I get to hear my little beans heartbeat.
5- GTKY- I met my SO on match.com almost 7 years ago! We've been married almost 6.
2. When is your next appointment? Tomorrow!! FX we see a nice strong HB. Saw it once two weeks ago, but it was so early it was pretty hard to see.
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Some days are better than others. I had a horribly vivid nightmare two nights ago that we lost the baby and then saw I was spotting later that morning. It was just a very little bit and it was brown so I just kept telling myself this happens to lots of people who end up having perfect LOs and stayed away from any and all baby sites to keep myself rational.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? Still no m/s!! Tomorrow it will hopefully be hearing the doc day we have a nice strong HB.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? College. Met and re-met through students organizations that we were involved with. I don't remember him from the first time we met. Good thing he remembered me three years later when we were at the same Super Bowl party.

1. How far along are you? 7 weeks today.
2. When is your next appointment? November 25th for prenatal interview. However, we scheduled a private ultrasound for November 14th JUST to ease anxiety. I'm not looking for any medical advice, diagnosis, or any other opinions. My OB's nurse said it was totally fine, and if they did say anything looked unusual, to call her and they'd do a follow up, just in case.
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? So, SOOO, much better after getting my betas back from yesterday. I went from 245 last Wednesday to 4,574.8 yesterday and I could NOT be more excited. My PGAL brain is taking a rest for today.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? See previous answer!
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? He sat behind me in an undergrad class and put his boots on the back of my chair, which royally pissed me off. I turned around to tell him to get his filthy boots off, only to find that he was really cute. So, I introduced myself instead. Come to find out, we had 5 classes together that semester, not even in the same major. Been together ever since.

2. When is your next appointment? Nov 12. We will go for our third growth ultrasound, and I will get blood taken for the genetic test we have been waiting for. It will (hopefully!) rule out the genetic microdeletion that my son had.
3. How is PGAL brain treating you? Not too bad. For the most part, I am trying to be optimistic. I have been feeling terrible, so that makes me feel better... that the baby is growing properly.
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? At my appointment last week, the baby had caught up in size to where it was supposed to be (at my first appointment it was measuring 6 days behind), so I am really grateful for that. It also had a really strong heartbeat.
5. GTKY: How did you meet your SO? We met in college at bar through mutual friends. Not the most romantic story, but 10 years later, here we are!

Ok...In Feb I miscarried at 8 weeks right before our first appointment so as I get closer and closer to that 8 week mark I've noticed that I'm becoming more anxious. However, this pregnancy is already a lot different than last time. So even though the nausea (which I didn't have last time) is annoying I keep telling myself that it's a good thing!
4. What's your current Pregnancy joy(other than being pregnant)? Being able to share in the excitement with my friends and family. We didn't tell anyone last time because were waiting until our first ultrasound...which we never had. This time we told our parents a few days after our positive pregnancy test and have told close friends who knew about the miscarriage. My parents have also moved closer and are no longer 800 miles away so it's been really nice to have my mom here with me this time. Annnnnd now I'm tearing up. Damn hormones.
